The syringe and needle are all medical grade. The syringe it's self is plastic and has a 10ml volume. The needle is a hefty 16 gauge and all aluminum. Because the needle is a real medical grade needle, I have removed the sharp point and slightly rounded the edge to help prevent an accidental jabbing. The entire length of the syringe from end to end is aprox 9".
