I bought this rail to put on my deck to aide going up and down the wheelchair ramp. It is attached to aluminum poles that hold up my awning on my park model trailer. I contacted the awning company in hopes that they would sell a rail and they do but at a cost of $200-300. Wow. Me a retired widow. Fixed income. This rail is better, stronger, easy to mount (although I had to buy sheet metal screws), 1/4 the cost and looks great. It came a day earlier than expected. And I love it. You can’t go wrong.

I needed to add a rail section to an odd area at the top of my stairway. The length and color of this product was perfect. It's all metal and while the welds are a little sloppy, it makes up for it with strength and ease of installation. The installation kit comes with a tile bit which was a nice surprise. It certainly works on drywall, but if you're considering a bathroom install this will save you $10. Murphy dictated that my placement had to miss all of the studs,l but the anchors in drywall are more than good enough. There was almost zero flex when I was finished. Just make sure you get the top fastener on each end installed perfectly since it bears most of the weight. The fact that no painting is needed was a real win for me. I simply measured the height of the existing rail where the tread meets the kick using a carpenter square and transferred this measurement to the same point on the opposite wall. I did this in three locations and then connected the dots with blue tape. This gave me a guideline for the rail.. Two of us held the rail in position along the blue tape and marked the drill holes at each end using a pencil. I drilled out the anchor holes, tapped the anchors in gently with a hammer and then screwed it in. I've installed a lot of rails in the past and this was by far the easiest since it was all one assembly with no paint work. I was very deliberate and took my time and it still was well under an hour. Love this handrail. Mounted to our bricks with no issue with drill. Very well made and sturdy. Easy to grip, and not expensive .

Pretty decent set of handrails for the price. Finish is nice, but not super thick, so be careful when handling. Once in place they are strong, easy installation, screw metal is a touch soft, so use caution. I would NOT use the plastic molly's in the kit, find a stud or at least a toggle bolt- you can easily adjust location of brackets to a stud. I like that they have various sizes that match, so for steps and landings, etc. you can get a professional look.

These rails are extremely sturdy while looking very elegant. Installtion was simple. They provide a beautiful accent to our home.
