Lever Outside Tap With Built In Wall Plate Elbow

Only fitted it a month ago but looks posh and works

My earlier tap only lasted 18 months so I thought I'd see if this one does any better. My initial impressions, after a couple of months of use, are that it is well made and performs as you would expect - difficult to get excited about a tap doing what taps do. I'm using a hose to provide the water supply via a C.K G7915 50 Threaded Female Tap Connector, Gold, 1/2-Inch through the compression fitting. I especially like the quarter-turn lever to turn it on and off. Makes it so much easier to use with cold hands or wearing thick gloves. I'm happy with this.

Used in a greenhouse. After 18 months, the previous one stopped shutting off tight, so there was a steady flow of water onto the floor. Need to wait and see whether that was a one-off failure. I am trying again with the same model because it is very neat, and the lever action makes filling watering cans and such much easier than with a traditional globe valve where you have to turn the handle several times.

Feels like a quality tap. Yet to be fitted, but can tell its a slid tap. Quick delivery and good value

I needed to replace an outside garden tap as the old one was getting tight. When I saw this one I thought I would buy as it was a good price less than a tenner with postage. The quality is excellent, it is very well made. The good thing is that you only move the lever a quarter turn from off to full on. I was so impressed I bought another one a week later for my other tap.

A good solid brass tap. I had mine installed by a plumber, who seemed to fit it easily enough. The beauty of this type of tap is its operation; so easy to control the flow. And quick & easy to shut of completely. Well recommended. Not used it much yet because of the time of year, so can't comment on durability, but had similar one in the past and performed well.

Good packaging, prompt delivery, and a product that is very well made. I chose this as an outside tap from several options - and I am very pleased that I did. It was simplicity itself to fit and to connect the infeed hose and, best of all, it is simple to switch on and off and it does not drip. I shall be ordering another one shortly.

Much better then the conventional garden tap and so much easier to operate. I have changed the end for one that can have a hose lock connection on and also gives a more general flow when not using the hose. When in the off position the lever is very close to the wall so can't get my hand behind it to pull so have to grip between thumb and finger tips until I can get my hand in behind. That's fine for me but dad struggles due to arthritis.
