I am very satisfied with this product. Compact but sturdy, nice little chess pieces, intuitive menu, many play levels from absolute beginner to expert, very sensitive board. It’s possible to review a game after it’s completed, or saved, using the two player analysis mode. I like it’s playing style at low levels as it resembles human play. In summary: if you love computer chess and are tired of computer screens go for it.

Very easy to start up, excellent programs to help improve your chess game. Fun to play, many different levels. The board, the pieces and the chess programs work well together. Excellent for openings and best moves. Just sorry I didn't get it before. If you really like learning chess in a fun way, get it.

The whole set functions very well. The pieces could be a little larger, but that is minor point. Seems like a well made device. This is not a toy, as far as I am concerned.

This is a very strong chess computer! Very hard to beat! Excellent for strong chess players!

Bought a femuey chess set that didn't work. This one works well. It takes a little time to figure out everything, but it works well. It's small, which i like because it fits in my lap. Magnets are just strong enough to hold the peices in place. Peices are nothing to brag about, but i didn't get it for it's appearance. Levels are good. Probably not for experts. I am not very good, but I think it does everything out says it will do.

Wir haben den Schachcomputer in der Familie im Einsatz, unser Kleiner lernt gerade Schach im 2ten Jahr. Kurzum, wir sind sehr, sehr zufrieden: + schaut wirklich schick aus, flach und modern + angenehme Größe: Das Gerät ist in etwa so groß wie ein A4 Blatt, das Schachbrett selbst nimmt dabei die komplette Breite ein. + Die Figuren passen sehr gut zur Brettgröße, gute Spielübersicht. Tolle Magneten! Man kann sie nicht aus Versehen umschmeißen + Figurenbeutel ist dabei! + Der Hauptpunkt für uns: Spitzen-Farbdisplay! Wir haben auch noch zwei ältere Schachcomputer, einer davon mit Display, einer ganz ohne. Das Gerät ohne Display ist kaum bedienbar und liegt nur rum, der andere ist zwar OK, aber reizt nun die Kinder nicht wirklich dazu, mal selbstständig damit zu spielen. Beim ChessGenius Pro ist es nun so, dass selbst der Kleine mit seinen 6 Jahren das Gerät komplett selbst bedienen kann. Einmal gezeigt, welche Menü-Punkte er braucht (neues Spiel und Tipp ;-) ) und er kann komplett alleine spielen. Statt Spielkonsole Schachcomputer - finden wir super. Die Spielstärke haben wir aufs unterste Level gestellt, damit gewinnt er leicht. Wenn er nicht weiter weiß, kommt einfach die Tipp Funktion zum Einsatz und damit denkt der Computer für ihn weiter. Ich denke, er wird damit recht schnell Fortschritte machen. Manchmal spielt er auch schon gegen seinen größeren Bruder, auch hier hilft der Computer und spielt den "Schiedsrichter". Durch das Schachbrett im Display und die farbigen Markierungen bekommt er jede Menge Hilfe, Zugmöglichkeiten, Warnungen. Cool auch die Sounds, der Applaus am Spiel Ende ist genial, der Kleine jubelt dann immer mit, wenn er mit COmputerhilfe mal wieder gewonnen hat. Daher aus unserer Sicht: Rundum gelungen, und aufgrund der Spielstärken-Einstellungen und der leichten Bedienung echt ein Gerät für die ganze Familie.

Excellent jeu d'échecs, tactile avec pièces magnétiques, ce qui est bien utile. Un niveau ELO performant, un écran LCD réglable en luminosité qui permet des parties seul ou à deux. Dommage toutefois que pour le prix, le petit adaptateur secteur de 5V ne soit pas livré.
