As of 6/5/18 game still comes bundled with launch bonus goodies! As well as tiny barbarian.

The $40 copy still come with the goodies and soundtrack make sure it from Amazon who sell it because some may charger $40 but you would get the $30 copy with no goodies at all hope this help

How does the difficulty compare to shantae half-genie hero?

I haven’t played that, I would say the difficulty is moderate. It is definitely a fun game I recommend picking it up

Does this game require a mandatory download to start the game?

There are patches which need to be downloaded for this game. I don’t know how well the game will run without the patches or if it will run at all.
