Coin guy here - This was an upgrade from my other similar set-up. I'm getting much better quality results for not that much more cost. I always use my lamp and handheld light to get crisp photos, and do not rely on the lights that come with these scope cameras. Correct lighting will get you the best results, bad lighting will make you think the scope is not performing as it should. The default settings seem to be the best settings, but I am still exploring them. I like the extra wide base and 10" pole for the bigger coins. The screen is as advertised, nice and clear. This unit performs as advertised, produces really nice results. The only two minor things I would pick would be - 1. the sd card slot is in a tricky spot because of the pole (unless you have the camera at the top of the pole) 2. the cord for power and usb cord for the base light are really short. - I would not have a problem recommending this scope for the price and performance. **Also, my sd card arrived already in the sd slot, be sure when you take it out for the first time that you make sure to remember which way it goes back in. Mine had the gold prong side that was up** Hope this helps!

This microscope is great! There’s no color distortion and the flexible lights help keep shadows and reflections to a minimum. You can use it as a standalone unit or connect it to a computer or external monitor. The build is excellent and the zoom capability is awesome. Comes with 66GB SD micro. Photos and video are clear and true to color.

The scope arrived quickly and from the very start, operated at or above what I expected. The image menu has a wide array of settings to accommodate even higher skilled photography buffs for the money, I researched many products before purchasing this scope. You can't go wrong with this product as it is affordable to almost everyone and certainly a value for what the scope is capable of offering. I've used this to examine mineral quartz ore for mineral identification and presence of gold.

I purchased this for soldering projects. Loving it so far! Works great, focus is nice and sharp, lights are really good. I like the construction... stand feels sturdy and well made. Base has good weight to it so nothing moves when you're working. I've heard that an issue some people have with using and screen for soldering work is the lack of depth of field (because both eyes are looking at a flat image). I had no problems, and it wasn't long before I could place the soldering iron tip right where I wanted it while only looking at the screen. I haven't used any of the image capture features yet, I really got it just so I could see what I was doing. The magnification range is perfect for solder work.

Our vision gets worse as we get older! I finally broke down and bought this. Works great, decent magnification. Makes fixing and soldering much easier. I have not had any problems with this.

I'm not the type of person who likes to write reviews, but I had to do it with this microscope because I know that just like me there are many people who are looking for a good microscope to be able to see their coins. And I can tell you that this is by far the best microscope I have ever owned. So that is why I recommend that you look at the images that I have uploaded so that you can understand what I am talking about. I have bought between five or six microscopes and I can tell you that this is so far the best of all, both for viewing the images and for taking photos. I really like the settings it has because you can adjust the image to your liking, you can adjust the screen to make it look clearer, and you can also adjust the image to make it lighter or darker, or to black and white, you can also adjust the sharpness. Another thing that i can add to this review is that, unfortunately the control came with some issue, so i contact them by email and they send me a new one, they say that it will take around two weeks for me to receive, and yes i receive in two weeks as they said. Im very very very happy with this microscope and how they handle the issue of the control. So if you are a coin collector and you are looking for a great microscope, I highly recommend you buy this one.

The price was this is pretty amazing for what it is. It’s built well and the battery lasts me over 3 hours which is solid. The image is clear and crisp, and settings are extremely easy to navigate. I use this for card restoration and it’s perfect. It’s nice to be able to take pictures or videos and send them to customers too. Overall I don’t have a negative thing to say about it. UPDATE: 3 months later after every day use, this POS has red light and refuses to turn on, after different cables, power blocks, holding reset holding power. 3 months, cheaply made trash, when you can’t even afford to get a new one

I repair electronic gadgets. This device is excellent. No instruction manual needed. Easy to set up and use.
