Sizing incorrect.
Boot felt well made however sizing completely inaccurate. What was labeled as a UK size 15 was a inch narrower than my foot.

It's odd that I have received so many compliments on these boots. Who actually looks at your shoes? Appearance When you first get them, they look very cool. Kind of all dry and dusty. The thing is, unless you are a famous actor that only intends to wear these once during your Tonight Show interview, you'll probably have to do some stuff. I've attached a photo to show what the boot initially looks like, and what it looks like after you apply mink oil, which of course, you HAVE to do (unless you are that actor). The mink oil is needed to soften up the leather and waterproof the boot. SO when you buy the boots, just buy the Mink oil too from somewhere. The photo shows what I bought but I don't think there is much difference what kind you get. Oil them up and let them sit overnight, then they are ready to wear. Fit A lot of controversy here in these comments. I think overall, if you buy your size, the boots are kind of tight. Boots are sort of like that. Especially new ones. They need to stretch a little SO there is a little bit af time you will wear them where they will feel sort of tight. I'm not saying your boots should hurt, but they might a little. Just get over it you big baby. They settle in after a week or so and after a little more time, they feel like they are a part of you. Customize I don't think the boot makers put a whole lot of thought in their inserts. Just remember, these are NOT running shoes with high tech support. I think it's just whatever insert they could buy a million of cheaply. I always put my own inserts in anyway and I'd probably say you'll want to do that too. I swear by Superfeet insoles but get whichever ones fit your comfort preferences and budget. These are the things that will stop your heel from swimming around in the back of the boot too. Overall I love these boots. I took some photos of my boots after a month or so, but can't find them at the moment. Basically, they look pretty nice. Kind of in-between the two boots in the photo. If you apply mink oil after a couple of months, they return to the darker appearance and the cycle begins again. I have a hard time imagining what can really go wrong with these boots aside from the heel falling off or getting worn. And it looks like it's designed to be replaced. So if this is the style of boot you like, you will not be disappointed in these.

This was the 3rd pair of cowboy style boots I bought for my Husband, he has extra wide feet and big ankles. He was so happy these fit and they do not hurt his feet.my Husband has only worn wood boots, this is a nice change to dress up the jeans. They ate very stylish and very happy with them.

The boots are very very nice. The brown is perfect and the look is very rugged. They are well made and the sole looks and feels sturdy. The only thing i plan to add are insoles. The ones that come with the boots after very thin.
