Fantastic to smoke a whole salmon on the barbecue. Bought several of them and keep buying them every year. Very simple to use, just put the salmon on top of it and put it in the barbecue. Close it and 20 minutes later voila, you have it nice and smoked with minimal effort. Very good quality and totally worth the money.

Slightly smaller than I had expected but worked well.

If you follow the instructions and soak ahead of use you'll get multiple uses out of each plank, we've probably used ours about 7 times and I think they'll go for another use or two. Gives the salmon a lovely smokey flavour. The skin does stick to them but if you soak them and scrape it off they clean up well. Just be careful how you store them after use as they can crumble a bit around the edges and are blackened. Would buy again when we need to replace them

It adds fabulous flavour to bbq fish

I used this to Bbq Salmon Fillets and the plank didn't last the entire cook. Also, the Salmon skin was stuck to the plank and we had to sprape the meat off. I had immersed it in water for over 24 hrs, but it just couldn't withstand the temperature in my Charcoal Kettle bbq. Next time, I am definitely going for a thick plank,which will last atleast two cooks. For the price, this is a rip off !
