Nice and sturdy. Staff love these more then other tape dispensers. Will be ordering more . Quick and easy to use once you get used to it.

I have bought a few tape dispensers, and this one is one of the very few good ones I have had. BUT, it does take a little practice to become competent with it. The biggest part of that is that you have to learn how to preserve and use the trailing tape that arises after each sweep. It will take you a while to get this right, but once you have, this thing is great. It is very strong and you can expect to have it delivering parcel tape efficiency and effectiveness for a good long time. One more thing though, don't use nasty, cheap tape. Pay a little more and get tape that is a little thicker; no tape machine works well with rubbish tape. It's a great price. Go for it.

Just used the dispenser for the first time and thought I would give a novice review. Arrived in a easy to open box with no instructions. I found it quite simple to install the masking tape I wanted to use which is approximately 230mm wide by following the picture instructions on the box and online. I found the dispenser to be helpful in taping cardboard crafting projects I am currently undertaking without my hands getting too tired. I have issues with dexterity and grip due to OA and would definitely recommend it for anyone who has similar problems. I will buy more for gifts and myself as I find it much easier to use than the gun with handle type I have and equally as practical as the desktop one. When I finished taping I slipped a paperclip horizontally just before the end of the masking tape to ensure I can find the end next time I wish to use it.

This is an extremely ineffective product. The little blade on the roll (anti-reverse design, they boast about) totally kills the normal non-reverse (forward) moves, which makes this product completely useless. I still don't understand the point of the blade. You can't get rid of it either. If you are not a company who needs packing in an industrial scale, and you can afford to cut the tape first and then attach it on the surface (not the other way round), you don't actually need this (or gun) type of dispensers. A desktop dispenser would be a better solution for normal use.

Generally this is an OK product and the price was also OK. What surprised me, as a product designer by profession, is just how thin and deformable the metal construction was. I bought metal because I expected it to have a stiffness of construction in the pressings and it is disappointing in this respect. Indeed I had to straighten one of the white roller mounts before I even got to load the tape reel.. With care this should continue to work OK...but care will be needed in the handling.

Made my life so much easier. I use packing tape a lot for a lot of reasons other than packages. Every time I pick it up having to find and peel the edg was getting pretty annoying so I figured find a dispenser just figured it might be a little big and take up space in the desk drawer. This is not too big it feels heavy duty yet it’s pretty simple and works great. Never have to worry about finding the tape end again and if I ever move this will probably be the most helpful thing ever. Top is hinged so as the roll gets smaller the top will follow he size of the roll. Squeeze to get the tape to stop dispensing by pinching the roll in between the middle and the top hinged flap, then use the teeth to get a clean cut. Simple and easy as that.
