Perfect gift for a 9yo boy
This is a great project for our 9 year old. He built it in a day. The programming projects are taking him a bit longer but he's enamored

My daughter has taken several robotic classes where they build models and code the movements. She and her friend (both 8) tried putting this together and struggled, so my daughter and husband ended up putting it together. My husband has a degree in electrical engineering, so he seemed like the logical parent to help. This came together rather quickly (about 30-45 min) however the instructions are not updated for the new battery pack (used to take a 9V now takes 4 AA). The battery pack is also not secured in any way, and while not a huge issue, my husband was frustrated with this. Once the robot was built they updated the firmware and she was good to go. I think that this is a fun educational product, with nice anodized aluminum finish. The robot seems durable, and is already being used to chase the cat and dog, so the mobility is great. My complaint is that this was rather expensive at $80. However, it will bring my daughter joy and thats what matters to me.

Es un excelente producto para involucrar en la programación a un niño, mi hijo tiene 10 años. Descargue de la páguina oficial de makeblock la herramienta "mBlock Blockly App" a mi hijo le gustó y ha resuelto con entusiasmo los ejercicios que le presentan. Entre mis compañeros de trabajo y amistades recomiendo ampliamente al Mbot.

My son love it , very good quality but it is a bit tricky to get the app.

Extreamely pleased
Very well thought, easy to understand and work with. My kid is 10 and likes tinkering and it fits OK. For the younger than 10 it may be difficult.
