New Look Sewing Pattern 6914: Misses Tops, Size A, paper, White, 32-44

Bought for a GCSE project. Finished garment looked good, but some of the instructions were confusing, and occasionally I had to do what I thought because I couldn't work them out.It was advertised as 'easy', but it wasn't as simple to make as I would have expected. I have lots of experience, but it wasn't an easy pattern for my daughter to follow.Good pattern, but probably not the best starter pattern.

This pattern was easy to use and follow. This was my first attempt at making a waistcoat. I had to add two panels as the size was two small for me but I did follow the sizing guide.

Easy to use pattern - !! careful how you cut the pattern if you want to use it again for a different size or style !!- then fold the paper pattern to the correct size/pattern choice - don't cut through it with the fabric!I have now used this pattern 4 times already...works very well. BUT measure front and back of your client - don't just take the 'overall' size....as If the lady has small back width but large bust size...then the shaping will not fit well. I used stretch fabric with a snake skin effect - for a Line-dance team!

Waistcoats are cool. Unless you have a buttonholer for your machine. Don't bother.

I made this in white linen. It's a nice design but unfortunately not a pattern which can be easily adapted to the wearer's shape. This would perfectly fit someone with high full breasts.Not for absolute beginners, it requires some knowledge of stitching types and needlework terms.Some of the instructions were difficult to understand or made no sense.

Hi I have requested a refund as a vital piece of the pattern, I would really rather a replacement than a refund but this doesn’t appear to be an option?

Un buon cartamodello per creare vari capi. Personalmente mi interessava solo un modello. Buon prodotto

An sich ist das Produkt super, aber hier steht bis Gr. 44 es ist aber nur bis deutsche 42 und selbst das ist eine winzige 42 mit einer max. Taille von 76 cm. Bis auf die Sache mit der Größe ist aber alles top.

les explications sont bien fournis en francais l'avantage de ce produit le choix de plusieus coupe possible mais aussi la possibilité de faire un mixage quand on a pris un peu la main
