It works as it was intended. I used it on my bathroom sink which had 100% blockage. After flushing for about 5 minutes I was able to remove 50% of the blockage which was good enough, considering the house was built in '62.

Make sure your plumbing is strong. Lots of pressure behind it.

We thought our sewer line was getting clogged so I saw this and thought why not try it. Pleasantly pleased our pipes are running well. This was easy to use and expanded to fit our 3in pipe. It gave us peace of mind that everything was working. The pressure was good I didn't use any gauge. I assume it will only expand to the size of the pipe. It worked in our 3" sewer pipe.

Used this to push debris out of some lines on my pool equipment. Worked great.

Like others, the drain bladder busted on the first time using and has now joined the rest of the debris clogging the pool skimmer line. Strongly recommend not purchasing.

I had a similar item in the past, which worked well. I purchased this as a replacement for that item. However, this one appears to be made of weaker rubber material. This works well if the entire device can be inserted into the drainpipe. If the part of the device is outside the drainpipe, it tends to bulge up in the portion remaining outside (the part closer to the hose attachment), eventually forcing the entire device out of the drain, causing a big mess around.

Worked very well for a drain that wouldn't clear with a snake. Years of goop plugging the drain pipe would simply shift a bit and clog again. This blasted it out quite effectively.

Haven't used it yet

After reading a lot of the reviews on this unit, I decided to purchase it. We were having a major blockage in the 1 1/2” ABS drain line about 20 plus feet from the clean out plug, which I discovered earlier with a snake (which would NOT clear the problem. Today I attached the bladder to a couple of garden hoses, which in turn I attached to the “hot” water off my wash machine. Once I pushed the bladder and hose to the blockage, we proceeded to pressurize the line. We done this numerous times reaching more blockages until the drain was cleared. This worked awesome!!
