Great for heavy person who supinates
I'm a heavy guy (5' 11") 300lbs, size 13 shoe. I'm walking towards future running. Around 2 miles every other day for now. I supinate (outward rolling of foot) when I walk and run. These shoes function as advertised by Brooks. They have a great foundation (sole) that has room for outward roll. There are plenty of reviews by experts and regular people, but for me its simple. I've used other brands (around same quality). These feel cushy enough and supportive (but not in support category) the heel strike and transition feel comfortable. Was last wearing Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22. Theses are much better. Very good feel for heavy bodied supinator.

Very cushioned
Well built, comfortable, size is accurate. What I didn’t like is the shoestringsThey are thin. I bought a pair of cheaper brooks earlier and their strings were more sturdy and larger in thickness. For the price I paid I expected strings that weren’t so flimsy.

One of the few wide size fit options I've found that are actually wide enough
After moving to Florida I went 2 decades without owning a pair of sneakers. Basically was just crocs for work and slide on sandals for everything else. Now in my 40s I got serious about walk/jogging a few pavement miles every day to help keep my body more active and the lbs off. Which early on proved to essentially require some adequate footwear if I didn't want my feet and shins to constantly be suffering.Always had bigger sized feet growing up, but nothing crazy (I'm a us12). Never had nearly the problem then of pretty much every one of these more expensive name brands I was trying on today feeling way too tight. Many which offer W or 2xW options that didn't actually feel that much wider. Now maybe super snug fits is just more a thing people want in this running shoes these days, but that isn't *I* was after.Initially went down the alternative rabbit hole of "barefoot" shoes that seemed to offer legitimate wider fit options. That worked ok for a while, but a need for a little more actual support/cushion then what they offer eventually became apparent. Moved on to *the* wide fit specialist Altra branded shoes from there. Their 2+ generation back models were great for wide fits ( I was a big fan of the Torin 5. Terrible front stitching design tho). Then they sold the company, and the previous terrible durability value I had already been gritting my teeth about got a lot worse. As did the fit of their shoes which completely re-did their sizing model and left everything with a snugger then before fit.Having tired of buying $150+ shoes that I'd literally expect to sport a hole in the front by the end of the first month, I went on a full blown try everything search this last time. Tried on every option the few specialty running stores near me had to offer. Bought and returned various options online that those local stores didn't have in stock to fill in the gaps. After much try and fail, I landed on these. Bought a .5 size up, and the X-Wide. 25 miles in now. Cushion feels good (i'm a heel striker fwtw). Not "perfect" on the fit, but it's not suffocating my foot by any stretch and the X-Wide option on *this* specific shoe actually made the comfort difference pretty much every other brand didn't (that also includes Brooks' other model shoes btw)Totally get most are going to TLDR this review lol. But I at least wanted to put it out there to potentially help anybody that finds themselves in a similar dilemma and is looking for that type of feedback focus I had a hard time finding myself.

Good support and cushion
Honestly, there aren't that many options in an extra wide walking shoe. The only option seem to be Asics and Brooks. I guess I did also try some New Balance but I didn't like the fit. These are good shoes, but not as comfy as some Hoka Bondies I had that weren't quite wide enough.

Superb!
Saw the ad with Jeremy Renner and was so moved by it that I decided to give these a try. I love them!I run and jog 7 miles on a 5'5" 71 year old frame with skinny feet and these are the best shoes that I've ever had. Super comfortable cushioning and design are a blessing for my knees and back. I have very arched feet but at the same time very skinny ones and I was always looking for narrow fits which did not always fit right and whose build tends to vary. And I'm talking $200 + shoes! These Ghost Max feel like walking on cushions but without losing stability. And don't let the fact that I mention my narrow feet turn you off because my wife who has very wide fit also loved them and is now getting her own.Highly recommended!

Good for my unsteady gait after knee injury
The shoes are light weight. I purchased them for walking at work. I'm recovering from a knee injury and surgery (quad tendon rupture) so I can't speak to the runners experience (yet). But these are some of the most comfortable shoes I've worn at work. These are good for my flat feet, and have enough cushion without being too unstable. I'm 6'3, about 275 lbs, so it's helpful having some cushion to absorb some of the pressure on my recovering knee while walking off and on for 12 hours in a major hospital. Ended up purchasing a second pair in a different color so I can rotate them.

Game changer
These are without doubt the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. If your troubled with sore joints don’t be put off by the price they are worth every penny.
