Ordered this as a Valentine’s Day gift for our 3 year old. He loves the arcade claw machines and always begs to play when we see one out and about! He proudly proclaims his favorite color is pink, so thought this would be perfect! It’s a cute little thing, works well enough that it’s kept him entertained. Definitely takes a little bit of skill to get the prizes out, he’s figured out that “mommy can do it faster” and now asks for my help. I’d say 5-6yo maybe could do it easily independently. So far we’ve only used it with the little stuffies that it comes with, but I imagine you could put other small objects in it as well. Definitely easier to use with only a few things inside at a time, otherwise the claw/chain gets stuck on the pile of items while you’re trying to move it around. Must be plugged in to function, comes with a little USB cable. Music is loud, but volume does adjust slightly and can be completely turned off (mom’s preference lol). Overall not sure how long it will last, but it’s already been worth it for how much fun and excitement he’s had since getting it! My husband and I have even had a few turns of our own!

My 6 year old daughter loved this for her birthday gifts she plays with it all the time and even is adults have fun with it. Super entertaining. Durable and great quality.

I bought this toy for my daughter since she loves claw machines, clearly my error for not reading the reviews for this and I did not see the frequently returned item message under the description. My daughter saw it I figured it looked cute so why not. So after 15 minutes of her playing with it she comes running to me and crying that it was broken. I figured no maybe it's just user error. I taught her how to do it but she is 3. So long story short I went and looked at it and realized that the claw no longer extended or retracted. I looked up to see if it could be taken apart to fix it and there's nothing out there. Also figured out that the rechargeable battery didn't hold a charge which now reading the reviews I see is the most common problems with this toy. I recommend you do not waste your time or money on this product. Look for something else.

The music gets a little annoying after a bit. You can make it quieter and turn the music off even but you will have the set that each time you turn it on. The left control is a little wonky with how you have to rotate it, they could have made a horizontal control similar to the one on the right. Grip strength is OK. I wish this was a little taller since it does not take much to overfill it and then the claw has a tough time working

My five-year-old granddaughter would not stop playing with this gift Christmas Day- she absolutely loved it. It was a great hit even with her eight-year-old sister.!
