Real wood!
Very pleased with these floating shelves. They were easy to install, and are quite sturdy. I did not drill into studs, but rather used heavy duty wall anchors. I'm not weighing them down with a ton of heavy items, just nick knacks and a few light-weight books, but if you wanted more security you could hang from a stud. But these are quite sturdy enough without doing so. They look good, and are ready to paint or stain if you wanted to do that. I just hung them raw, but they're easy enough to slide on and off the hanging bracket so if I ever feel changing them up it would be simple enough to do so. There are a lot of similar products on Amazon, but I was quite pleased with this option for the price.

Great Shelves!
I installed these in my son's room for storage they are nice and strong. I did out them into the stud on one side and used a heavy duty wall anchor on the other just because they are in a teenage boy's room. They were easy to install and look great.

Easy to assemble and they look great. They are a little rough so if you don’t want them smooth finished these are for you.

Sure, it's solid wood, but it's completely unfinished and rough
Very, very rough wood. Nearly worried about splinters. There was no finishing done whatsoever - no sanding, no coating. Incredibly lightweight as well. Returned immediately
