On removingvmy old taps, which were smaller, they had two - hence in over 10 years they did not flinch. I would have liked and now expected two screws with these taps especially as they're not the cheapest. I do suspect there will be some movement over time - and maybe if you have kids. That aside, great looking and feeling taps.

This won't fit a standard basin
See some previous comments. This will not fit a standard basin, it is slightly larger than the hole and may have been ok if the fittings were of better quality, as it was the tap could not be secured to the basin without some movement remaining.
