The Double Elite heat resistant BBQ oven gloves arrived promptly and looked good. As luck would have it I was going to cook some sausages for a sandwich, so I thought this would be an Ideal opportunity to try them out. I checked the bread but it was stale but I had some fresh rolls so all was not lost. I decided to throw some of the stale bread out for the birds in the garden. Almost immediately a rogue seagull flew down and started pecking at the bread, it did so with such force it managed to open a hereto unknown underground lave stream under my garden path, causing a small volcano to form. Not one to pass up on a free heat source for cooking my sausages I put the oven gloves on and noted they were a very good comfortable fit (I’m a mans medium to large hand size). Armed with my trusty frying pan loaded with sausages and my new oven gloves I started cooking over the small volcano. Unfortunately the volcano decided to erupt just as I started cooking burning both myself and my sausages to a crisp (possibly around a Gazillion Deg. C). My wife came rushing out and all that was left was my hands safely enclosed within the new oven gloves. Luckily I had been developing a fast track cloning system in my garden shed so my wife managed to clone me from my unburnt hands within a few minutes. All was not lost though as I had some bacon in the fridge so I made bacon rolls instead, wearing my new oven gloves and cooking the bacon on the cooker ring of course. So all in all these oven gloves are the best thing since sliced toast and I highly recommend them.

I use these gloves for regular use in the kitchen as oven gloves. They are very heat resistant - I can hold a baking tray from a 200 degree oven more or less indefinitely with these on. I don't personally like the long cuff as I don't need it and it makes it a bit harder to get on and off in a hurry.

I love these, they allow for much more movement than traditional oven gloves which is a huge plus in my opinion. It makes holding hot crockery while serving much easier than using a standard oven glove.The styling is a bit garish (as kindly pointed out by my mother, very much a kitchen traditionalist) but it is not that big of a deal to me.

Very happy with these. I've used them for ten days before writing this. Nice long cuff and although a little big they feel secure when I take dishes from the oven.

Bought for my husband to replace old short cream ones. He likes the long wrist so that he does not burn herself on the lower arm.

Slightly larger and thicker than I thought they would be but they've really helped me up my BBQ game and great in the kitchen too.
