I think it had an easy set up and mine works great. I watched Just a Dad's videos and it had great directions.

I wouldn’t recommend this coffee machine. As a longtime coffee lover who has owned multiple latte machines, I was really disappointed that this one stopped working after just 13 months—conveniently right after the warranty expired. I submitted a claim, but it was denied because it was out of warranty. How does a machine that costs over $300 last barely a year? And it wasn’t due to lack of care—I maintained and cleaned it regularly. On top of that, the lattes and cappuccinos it brewed were never hot enough for my liking. I often had to microwave them for 30 seconds immediately after brewing just to get them to a proper temperature.

Been purchased for a week and use it everyday. Love Mr.Coffee espresso machine. It’s easy to use and it makes tasty latte and cappuccino. The milk frother works great. Cleaning is easy too. I don’t like complicated machine. This is the best one for a lazy coffee lover like me.

If you want a nice latte that works great for one yr with a side of possible dangerous injury then this machine is for you. The milk has not been dispensing correctly, we've clean the whole machine and accessories. Was making a coffee this morning noted no milk was coming out, I bent down to look at the straw in milk dispenser, it takes +20 secs to come out slowly and sporadically, milk container decided it wanted to shoot off the machine and counter to fly 3 ft straight out and smash on the ground spraying milk everywhere. Container broke, the little milk handle sheared completely off. This is our 3 or 4 Mr Coffee machine. It will be our last and we will make sure to make none of our family and friends purchase any more of this brand. For such a old company the quality is cheaply made for a machine thats $299.00. I am very lucky I moved 2 seconds before it decided to shoot off machine straight into my face.

The height of the platform for different size cups is easy to adjust and it accommodates large cups or glasses. One drawback is that it takes a few minutes to warm up before it will operate and it only stays on about 15 minutes before it automatically shuts down when not used and then you must again wait for it to heat up from scratch to make more coffee. The other similar model is half the price and works just as well.

I bought this coffee maker 3 months from this review. It was important to have time using this machine before writing meaningful and significant feedback. I have had a cappuccino machine from various makers over the last 40 years. I keep returning to Mr. coffee products. For the price point, this machine is without any doubt fantastic! This is the best maker I have owned. For the most part, it is used daily. The product is of exceptional quality. The Prima Latte Luxe is easy to prepare, use and clean. The proportions of expresso to milk are on the mark. Like any other product there are a few negatives but very minor but the pros by a wide margin outweigh those cons.

I was really excited to receive this machine. Backstory, this is the third machine in the Mr. coffee barista series we have purchased and also the most expensive. Unfortunately although the coffee tastes great it’s simply not hot enough. I sent the original machine back and was sent a brand new one. Unfortunately, it was the same situation. So now after spending additional money, every time I make a latte I have to take it to the microwave and warm it up which is somewhat frustrating. I reached out to Support after the second unit did the same thing. And was told sorry then we’ll just give you a refund. Rather disappointed I’ve been a Mr. coffee fan for about 12 years and this is probably the end of our relationship.

Update: Machine stopped turning on early September. Their customer service is extremely slow in answering any communication. They sent us a return label for the machine and once we sent it back they sent us "a replacement". The replacement they provided was a cheap $180 machine. Extremely disappointed. We are continuing to contact them to get this resolved but it's beyond painful. After over 6 months of dealing with their customer service and following up until blue in the face they refunded our money. Original review: We had a manual old-school espresso machine for longer than I'd like to admit, because it makes me feel old, but let me tell you this thing is great! Easy to use, easy to clean, and makes a great cappuccino. Want extra milk, there's a button for that! Extra espresso? There's a button for that too!
