Design Toscano Simon the Fox Garden Statue, 46 cm, Polyresin, Full Color

Could be slightly larger, but, still very good. Best 'friend' to one of my dogs, from its arrival, he spends time laying next to it and checking it hasnt moved, when we return from walks. So the fox cannot be that bad. May try the rabbit next.

This was a luxury for my garden. It is perfect. It's a bit pricey so I researched and chose carefully. It is very well made and very life like. It's a good size so you can actually spot it from different places in my yard. I'm not sorry I bought it at all. I put it in the shed out of the snow for the winter because I want it to last for many years. The expression on the fox is perfect, the ears, the tilt of the head, the color is very accurate. My cats always take a second glance at it as they stroll by, just to make sure it's not going to move, lol, so I think that's a testament on it's own for the look of it. Very glad I ordered it. A gift "just for me".

This fox is absolutely beautiful. I bought as a memorial to my 3 year old great grandson. His favorite warmer animal was a fox. They keep it inside because it’s too nice to put out in the weather. It’s nearly life size. A wonderful gift!

la statua è fatta bene e dettagliata. pesa poco ed è in grandezza naturale. i colori sono belli. unico neo credo che col tempo lasciandola sempre fuori con le temperie si potrebbe rovinare.

For the size and work involved in casting and finishing, it was well worth the $100 sale price. I considered giving it only 4 stars due to some issues, but my wife loves it so much it deserves the full five. The issues were mostly minor involving the paint, but it also has a deep narrow gouge on the rear foot that looks like it was made with a dremel tool. Color - As most have indicated, the item is much more orange than the one shown in the Toscano website photos. However, if you google photos of actual red foxes you can find several that are that bright orange, so no problem there. There is a odd yellowish color between the red and white transtion on the snout that I am not fond of, but nothing major. The video and rotating image on Amazon reflect the color accurately. Weight - I find the item to be well weighted and substanital. Very unlikley to be blown over by the wind. Detail - The eyes are awsome. They look real, and look right at you. Some of the paint is a bit sloppy, some minor missed spots, etc., but overall good. The end of the nose looks a little rubbed (i.e. not fully black), but that may be on purpose since all of the review photos look similar. As noted above, the item in the official Toscano photos is a lot darker and painted with more detail. Images on other websites, on the rotating views, and posted by customers are more accurate. Height - It is almost exactly 18" tall. Not sure why others have measured it differently.
