I used this tape for foil transfer. It works brilliantly. It works exactly how I needed/wanted it to! I wouldn't use this for anything heavier than card other light materials. It's good for card making and other similar arts and crafts!

Received in a loose thin plastic bag, not the packaging that is shown, nor is it the brand shown. The inner reel is stamped with the seller's name (POLY POSTAL bags) - no mention of 'Ultratape' anywhere. This isn't a mistake, this is just misleading, given the image on the listing. Furthermore, the thin plastic bag had stuck firmly to the reel around its edge, I had to peel it away in many pieces, which does not make me think it is the expected quality. The whole reel is sticky so I've had to keep it in another (thicker) plastic bag before storing so that it doesn't adhere itself to anything else. This is the kind of situation and price point where I simply can't be bothered to complain, but it is very annoying. On the plus side, I've tested the supplied tape, peeled off well and seems very strong, so at least it appears to be fit for purpose, hence 3 stars.

Judging by a lot of the reviews for this, there must be some counterfeit or substitute product being sent out occasionally, because the tape I received was excellent (came in a branded cardboard sleeve). I use it to stick MDF strips down to form temporary router templates. In a way it's too sticky, because it can be really hard to remove without applying a bit of heat from a heat gun first. I'd imagine if you were using it to stick paper together it would never come apart!

Bought this to stick some promotional flyers to boards to promote an event. The flyers were laminated as they were going to be on wooden posts next to busy roads. Easy to stick but make sure you get the position right as the tape is very strong. The boards were outside for over three weeks and the tape was still solid.

Needed double sided tape for a project and thought getting it on a dispenser would be ideal, only one side to peel off. Firstly I couldn’t even tear the tape easily on the serrated cutter, secondly it’s not very sticky. When I was trying to peel the backing tape off I was lifting the the sticky side cleanly off the paper I was trying to stick. I tried for ages and wasn’t able to peel the backing tape off, so basically for me the item is useless
