Honestly, I expected to be disappointed. I am doing a lot more cooking so I figured it was worth a try. It is a very good knife. How long will it stay sharp? Time will tell.

weight and dimensions matter
This knife is too heavy and the handle's circumference too wide for the elderly and/or those with arthritic hands. These issues should be addressed in the statement of specifications in the add. Otherwise, it seems perfect.

Good weight and solid construction on this one. VERY GOOD for the price point! Those two deciding factors make me give it a 5 star rating. Very sharp out of the box. Once again the price for the value here is worth the purchase.
