IP66 Rating..?
Ok, I've ordered and received the camera. The ad shows it getting a good splash and an IP66 rating but.... camera came with a plastic shield thingy that drapes down over the camera. That's not shown or even mentioned in the description. Is the actual camera waterproof or does it need that thing on it to achieve the waterproof rating?In general, it's fairly easy to set up an use although the instructions aren't crystal clear, but I managed to get it up and running without too much trouble.I would have rated it a star or 2 higher if the camera would have matched the ad. I just don't know if I can use it outdoors without that cover on it.

Image quality equal to first digital cameras in early 2000
This thing is cheap. Feels cheap, looks cheap and clunky interface that is usable. Has really great timelapse options to schedule recording for a block of time and repeats daily.However, all that helps nothing if the image quality out of this looks worse than anything I've seen from a digital camera in the last 15 years. Even if it's 6k resolution, if it's just 6k of garbage then it's not worth anything. At least not to me.
