I read about DMSO while researching low cost, readily available alternative medicines for pain and decided to try a bottle for when my muscles and arthritis bother me. My research suggested the 70/30 mix as the proportion to use. I cannot believe how fast this product works! I first clean the area where I want to apply the DMSO, then wet a cotton swab with a couple of drops of DMSO and swab where it hurts and the surrounding area. DMSO quickly penetrates the skin. Within minutes my pain is gone, but that isn't the best part of using DMSO -- I am pain free for hours, or longer. And, DMSO has lots of other uses. I am definitely putting DMSO in my TEOTWAWKI bin. Used properly an 8 oz. bottle should last a long time. I figure that if I had nothing but DMSO, nascent iodine, and colloidal silver in my preparedness medicine chest, I'd be happy.

use it on my hands (and sometimes other joints) every night to go to sleep--it works for about 4-5 hours, enough to set to sleep-but be sure to use cotton swab (q-tip type) if you apply with your finger tip-it will go numb also.

It is ok, but I have since found that DMSO strengths vary and I want something stronger.

When I received the item the lid was cracked so it leaked all over and I was actually disappointed in the product. I purchased this because of the reviews I read that stated DMSO was very good for arthritis and I have been using it now for over a month and the product has not subsited the pain. I am using it on other things which it does very well, but everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for another.I just was very disappointed that the bottle lid was cracked and a lot of the solution leaked out!

This stuff is the bomb, but it's too expensive online. Its super effective. Just cover the whole muscle after you shower. You'll fell better the next day for sure.

I bought this for my brother that was having foot problems. He used it and was able to start running again in a couple of days. Pain was gone. Worked great.
