I like every product Tofurky makes and the hickory smoked slices are my favorites! Use them like you would use regular turkey on a sandwich either a regular sandwich or an open-faced one. These are delicious, good for you, and good for turkeys too! Lol! Highly recommended.

After trying this Hickory Smoked stuff, I'll be looking for the original "oven roasted." But 'til then... This Tofurky's texture and flavor is surprisingly good. Hard to believe it took me this many years of not eating meat to try this classic. Warning to those who aren't huge salt fangirls and boys: this flavor, at least, is *painfully* salty. Like, burns-the-inside-of-your-mouth salty. BUT I soaked it in water for ~an hour, and rinsed and, the the taste and texture both improved! I thought, "huh... this tastes just like *something*." And casting around in my memory: sliced turkey is what it tastes like! Pretty good, Tofurky co.The original might be just as good minus the desalination process (bc that is too much salt <@><@>) . I'll definitely try it. But I don't mind a li'l trace of hickory smoke flavor so 'til then, I'll buy-&-soak this again.

As a fairly recent convert to being a vegan, I was looking for a decent quick sandwich “meat” This definitely fits the bill! I’m kinda obsessed with them now. Yummy!

I’ve been eating Tofurky since it came out. Consistently tastes the same. I only wish the factory would be more consistent in their cutting techniques. Sometimes the product is thicker than the rest of the slices or the slices are not full slices and just pieces of a slice, which doesn’t make for an ideal sandwich. My cats LOVE Tofurky too. They both come running when they hear me unwrapping a box of Tofurky so don’t forget about Tofurky treats for your fur babies too!
