Review: Great Series Following Series I and II - My wife absolutely loves watching Desperate Housewives - I don't. For the last 3 years at Christmas, I have bought her the current series so she can be totally up to date. So in terms of a review, I'll keep it brief. Essentially, if you are a fan of Desperate housewives, you will not be disappointed - according to my wife this series is brilliant. The good thing about ordering through desertcart is that you know you will be getting the proper product at a superb price and quickly delivered. Highly recommended. Review: Enjoyable and gripping. - This is one of my all time favourite TV shows and one of those rare series in that you can't wait to see the next episode. It's interesting to see the progression of the characters although the relationship between Mike and Susan really goes on and on and becomes tiring. Fantastic styling, great scripts and the unique selling point of Mary Alice's voiceover make this series as unmissable as those before and those after.

Love This! Best Show Ever! They all feel like Family.
So sad this Programme is over! 😢 Absolutely Love Desperate Housewives! I never watch the same thing twice but I've already watched this again. And would watch it again still. That's really not like me! Even my favourite films I've only ever watched ONCE!

Still Desperate!!
This is one of the best seasons, in my opinion, from start to finish! I know we all have different ideas on what is good and bad but I really enjoyed this chapter. Though Laurie Metcalf did steal the thunder as a vengeful and betrayed wife. She was hilarious in the "Bang" episode as the gun friendly Carolyn Bigsby. I did actually like Dougray Scott here as well, contrary to others belief. He hid his Scottish accent well and his line "that better be German for no" was brilliant. Didn't really enjoy the "War Of The Roses" sketch with Gaby and Carlos, but won't dwell on that.

Less Desperate than Series 1 & 2
Initially, this series was avoided due to the prospect of high camp gay appeal. The first two seasons were interesting enough, the idea of middle aged women occupying the same cul de sac in US suburbia (with dark secrets) is really an extension of Douglas Sirk like story lines set to a series. Any one of these women could be played by Bette Davis or Joan Crawford. All of them look fantastic, and it is a little irritating how all of them with pre menopausal hormones raging manage to be so thin. Note that not once is an outfit repeated. Lynette is by far the more real character with the best supporting male. The kids are a treat too. This is a better season than the first two, which were given to the preposterous story meanderings around the death of the voice over narrator. Zak and duel parentage is done away with, as is the dying moneyed elder. The other neighbours and twitchy old women are value for money and the character of Eadie is given more depth. Irritating though, is the persistent notion that Englishmen have butlers, own estates and have manipulative parents obsessed with family heritage. Dougray Scott is ludicrous as Ian, the man who vies for Susan. Susan is less dipsy in this season - which is a relief. Looking forward to Season 4....

Desperate Housewives Still As Good As Ever
Sitting back in February out of curiosity I bought Desperate Housewives since that moment I have been addicted. Great series. As you progress the story develops around Orson Hodge, Bree's new husband, and the mystery surrounding his ex-wife's disappearance and this, "Monique." Susan, Lynette, Bree, Gabby, all as great as usual and Mrs. McCluskey has her own little mystery. You should seriously consider buying a 5* product. With brillant extras and I hope your fingernails are long so can bite them away!!
