I've been looking for a vegan way to flavor butter beans since I gave up red meat and bacon a few years ago. I wanted to have the flavor of a ham hock or ham. I added just a couple of teaspoons of this liquid smoke with a bit of brown sugar and was amazed at how close it came to Mom's butterbeans (made southern style with ham hocks). A bit of comfort food. Will definitely try this in clam chowder (love the smokey flavor bacon imparts to it.

I absolutely love this liquid smoke flavor! And I'm surprised! I first used liquid smoke when I was making a diabetes barbecue chicken leg recipe 10 years ago (out of a recipe book that called for liquid smoke specifically). My kids and I loved it! Apparently though, liquid smoke is hard to come by 🤦🏼‍♀️ especially in original flavor. I was trying to find it for a recipe recently and no stores had it, all sold out. I took a chance with this one as a substitute with the hopes that it would suffice for the recipe. It has surpassed my expectations! I have used it for the initial recipe and it did the job, then again a few times in deviled eggs (adding bacon crumble on top - delish)! I just wish this stuff wasn't so expensive. It is very hard to find in a single bottle, and often what's available in that area flavor varieties which I won't ever use...or two pack which makes the purchase astronomical for something I will use rarely. That's why I gave it four stars. Otherwise it's great.

Did it’s purpose for making my own smoked paprika

I really enjoy using liquid smoke in Instant Pot, coating the meat (esp. pork) before cooking. Be aware, I ordered 2 bottles and both arrived with broken lids and some limited liquid leakage due to lack of protection during shipping.

Used it for the first time on pork chops. Could not get over what it did for the taste. My wife said, Did you do something different with these chops? Excellent

product had loose cap seems to be a problem with this product.Amazon made good on it but in general there are no returns for this product. it is a disaster because this stuff stinks to high heaven, don't touch it with your bare hand very difficult to get the smell off anything it gets on.

Excellent, but a splash in your bolognaise

Nice product but it was leaking when it arrived, despite being wrapped well. I discovered after unwrapping that the lid was not on properly so had that smoky smell for a few days!
