Virtuosa Travel Duffel with Wheels

This product is a total hit with my wife. I gave it to her as a present, as she had been hunting for a good looking carry on with wheels that matched the “aubergine” color of her dop kit (what can I say?). I have to admit, it looks pretty spiffy. And to my liking, it promises to be durable, has plenty of pockets, and the fold away handle is a joy. Utility in a pretty package. What’s not to like.

Great looking bag, with the ease of wheels and a hidden telescopic handle. The fabric is soft and pliable to whatever you stuff in the back. That being so it's quite roomy inside - definitely enough for a long weekend. I like that it doesn't look like a hard box or square suitcase, lending it to more possibilities for use like a gym bag or a carry on plane bag, so its versatility in function is there. I also love the outside pockets - great for the phone or an ipad to slide into. Zipping shut keeps it secure, too My only suggestion to Samsonite would be to put some leather trim on the side edges, especially the side witht he wheels, to extend the life of the cotton bag, and make it more durable. So far it's surviving, though. For the person that wants to have a more tailored look yet the comforts of a wheeled bag (especially those of us getting older with wearing hips/knees/shoulders!), I highly recommend this bag. I only gave it 4 stars because of the wear factor on the side with the wheels.

I bought this for a trip to Kenya. It is a good looking bag and has the convenience of wheels and a handle but with a sleek design. Fits a LOT of clothes. Reasonably priced for the style. Looks more expensive.

I like to look at this and the roominess. However, wheelbase is very very short and therefore it is very easy to tip over and extremely unstable. I had to have something like this for a specific trip. I definitely would not recommend it. Fell apart on the first use

Great travel bag - lightweight, telescoping handle and wheels, and can fit under plane seat. I like that it is one open area inside, with one long inside zipper compartment along one side. When I have a bag with lots of compartments, I spend too much time guessing which compartment I put something in. With this bag, I use small travel bags inside it. There are also two zipped compartments on outside - one long deep zipped area on one side and a small shallow one on the other side. Only con is that the wheeled end of the bag gets rather dirty due to the closeness to the ground of the two small wheels. Very happy with purchase so far.

Style is attractive. Inside was roo.y enough. All seemed well until I tried to move through the airport with it. It was unstable , twisting and turning along the way. Needless, to say I no longer use it. The only thing I realized is one needs a bag with 360 degree spin wheels.

Gifted it to my husband and he loved it

Had use this through multiple business airport trips and tracked it through snowy hotel sites, and it is great. The bag is very sturdy and the pockets are deep. With a lot of use, there can be some natural wear and tear around the wheel area, but that is not a reflection of quality. It is a reflection of how much I love this bag and used it to the extend that is getting a little 'character'. The color I got was olive green, goes well with everything. Lastly, the wheels works really well. Never had them jam up or something. I would recommend this to anyone that travels a lot and need to carry laptops and reference books. Since I work in Audits, I always have a lot of records and guides to carry around.
