Very appropriate for young kids
These Berenstain Bear books are outstanding as always. I used these to accompany a "save, spend, share" bank along with a roll of coins to get the kids started as a Christmas gift for my youngest great nephews and nieces (3 to 7 years old). This book has a lot of good money concepts in it along with great pictures. It will need to be read to the youngest while the oldest can read it on her own although I hope the parents are involved.

A great book for introducing kids to the wise use of money.
All 4 grandkids received this book. The story is a fun way to introduce money knowledge to kids.

Excellent book and great lesson
This books is perfect for ages 3 and up in my opinion. It’s a great way to start teaching your kids about money and its value and how to save it. It even comes with stickers and blank fake checks!!!

My kid loves these books and I don’t mind reading them. The idea behind this one is good- encouraging kids to think about what you need versus want and savings versus spending.

Easy Read ... Start instilling good financial habits and understanding early! Too many parents forget to help young ones learn positive financial readiness for whatever reason, and most adults have had to learn "the hard way" about basics of budgeting to live within their means, saving, credit use and borrowing, and investing. Set your little ones up for success.

Great book with a few extras
I purchased this book because my 2nd grade students are obsessed with Berenstain Bears books. This one came with fake money and checks. Which lead to a great conversation about counterfeit money. They found it very interesting.
