Quality bit of kit.. bit fiddly to set up but all good once done all works as it should and was pretty easy to fit.. One thing I would recommend is to check the unit has the latest software version befor using the downloadable app.. trust me you will only have it to do anyway... The app once installed and set up is very good and can be used as a remote control from the bars if you wanted to and there's a good few options you can mess with to..all in all as I said top kit this...

A Christmas present so not received by person it's for, looks OK when.checjed it.

I bought the Scala on the basis that it would have a better range than my current headset, and because I was going for a week's touring Scotland with a friend who has a Scala and I wanted the compatibility. Right from the start it failed to deliver. I tried the various facilities at home to get used to them. I tried the voice activation, and spoke various commands clearly and loudly, but to no avail, so I started shouting and then bellowing. Eventually I managed to turn the radio on, but then failed at several attempts to tune it. I then shouted "RADIO OFF", increasing the volume each time until it responded by saying "music on". I tried the voice facilities for music. "Next track" seemed like a command I would want to use, but instead it telephoned my local taxi firm, Trafftax. On other commands it called my sister, and then a couple of friends, but not once did it execute the command I had actually used. So, off went voice activation. On the road, this piece of junk fared just as badly. My friend could barely hear me even though I could hear him clearly. I felt like an idiot sitting in traffic, apparently shouting at nobody at all. The range was just a couple of hundred metres with any level of clarity, but all my friend heard most of the time was noise. Each time I got a satnav command through the earphones the intercom switched off, sometimes for several minutes, so I switched off the satnav sound. That is, if the intercom worked at all. Much of the time it didn't work. We would switch our devices on and I could hear him but it could take between several minutes and not at all for him to hear me. Much of the time I just heard a lot of crackling, which would grow and then sometimes fade away over perhaps half an hour. When this happened any conversation i received was very badly distorted. On the last day, I switched the device on, and as usual it said "intercom A connecting", but as usual nothing happened immediately. I then spent nearly an hour of the journey home switching the Scala off and on, and trying to switch the intercom off and on, before giving it up as a bad job and leaving it off for the rest of the journey. I haven't switched it on since, and now it's going back. This device is utter rubbish. It is far and away the most useless piece of technology I have ever bought. It does absolutely nothing well or in a straightforward way. In order to use just a fraction of what it is billed as being capable of, I had to switch off several basic functions. In the end, nothing at all worked. Foolishly, I have ordered a replacement because I can't believe that it would have a good reputation if all units fared as badly as mine. I will see whether that changes my mind. If not, it's going back for a refund and I shall go back to my cheap £30 device, which even though the range isn't great plays music, handles telephone calls, and works as an intercom. PS. Nearly a year later I realised that I forgot to add what happened to the replacement. It was just as bad so that went back too. I have given up.

Sound quality good Vox very very poor Radio on does not remotely sound like Anna? Very infuriating & distracting.

Used only twice, but I'm already over the moon with it! As soon as I saw its case/packaging I knew I had bought a quality product. Great sound, easy to install and endless hours of fun on my bike. Let's hope it lasts

Super product . Just dont pair with your mates . Enjoy the peace . Would recomend to anyone works fine with i phone and also works fine with garmin sat nav . But dont have your mate chewing in your ear .fits perfect in helmet . Comes with lots of fitting aids . Had it fitted to 2 helmets now . No problem

Tengo el Q3 también y se oye mucho mejor que este. Me ha defraudado, y lo que no me esperaba es que el enchufe a la pared no fuera para un enchufe en España (tiene 3 patillas para UK).
