Okay, so I want to start off by saying I’ve never messed with audio at all in any vehicle. I bought these because my speakers were 31 years old, and I knew they needed replaced. Was it simple? No. But it was my first time, and it took me maybe over an hour to install both, not including the time taking off my door panels, speakers, re-wiring. Anyway! These sound amazing. I got them for $60, on sale. So I’d say very much worth the value right now. They fit just right, glad for the multiple holes they put. But all in all, good product. And my Jeep loves them.

I recently upgraded my car speakers, and I can honestly say it has completely transformed my driving experience. The first thing I noticed right after installation was the clarity of the sound—every instrument in a song comes through sharp and distinct. Vocals are no longer muffled; they sit right in the center, almost like the artist is performing live in the car. The bass response is tight and controlled—not overpowering, but punchy enough to feel every beat. At the same time, the midrange and highs are beautifully balanced, which means I can switch from bass-heavy hip hop to acoustic tracks without having to constantly adjust settings. Another thing I love is how loud these speakers can get without distortion. I tested them by turning the volume up higher than I’d normally listen, and the sound stayed clean and smooth. Even at highway speeds with the windows down, the music cuts through perfectly.

Great oem replacement

Replaced my cars speakers with this and they worked so well. Decent bass for the price and lasted for two years until someone ran a red and totaled my car. Probably would’ve lasted a lot longer.

Overall build quality seems pretty sturdy. The only issue that I have is that it is a much larger profiled set of speakers. I have a 2000 Honda CRV that can accommodate a 6.5 inch speaker and even though it will fit in the compartment because of how wide the outer rim is that you put the screws into it took some finagling. I was able to install the speakers into the front compartment by creating new holes and cutting some of my panel, but when it came to the back ones, I’m kind of on the fence if I’m going to return them, the tweeters on the end of the speakers, sit out very far and turn I can’t use my original covers in order to cover up the new installs so either I get a new pair or I finagle the covers that came with the speakers and attaching them somehow to the sides of my trunk area, which I’m not too keen about. Either way just be aware if you’re a Honda or an Acura guy you might not have perfect fit even when it does say it’s a 6.5.

These speakers sound great, the garbage that PIONEER has been putting out lately, really made me think twice about buying these speakers. Lets face it, we will never get the quality that we had back in the early to mid nineties. Now its all cheap garbage that can be easily sold at a profit. These speakers made me change my mind. The sound, crisp, even at high volume, they produce just the right amount of mid without distorting. I do not have these speakers on an amp, they are wired directly to an aftermarket PIONEER head unit. I am very pleased with this purchase. I hope they stand the test of time, like the old sckool BLUE and WHITE boxed PIONEER speakers....

These were missing in transit for a while. Was refunded then they turned up. Not installed but had these in another vehicle and quite good for entry level speakers.
