This stuff is awesome !!! So easy to use but it's kind of like super glue, so don't even begin to stick in on unless you have a steady hand and can get it on correctly. I used this to "black out" the back of my 10 gallon aquarium and it looks AMAZING!!! It was so easy for me to use, and the red backing came off fairly easy for me with my fingernails. Make sure you have a good view of the surface where that you are applying this too. As you can see, I was working almost blindly and in a very tight space and I just barely touched the black to my tank and it was not in place correctly so I had to fight to get this off the tank and into place perfectly. It is wonderful tape and I cannot say anymore about it. I knew of it from the 3m hooks I bought on Amazon a few years ago and they are still going strong.

Worked perfectly on my shower door to reattach the aluminum strip that holds the rubber gasket. It was the correct width and thickness. No leaks!

I use this tape for bonding power packs to IEM equipment worn on the hips of performers, and held on video recording devices. So, it's used in a variety of situations. Some configurations are pretty tough in terms of pulling against the mounted power pack. Others are exposed to thermal stress. This tape holds quite well. I haven't had a failure yet and don't expect to have one any time soon. I will admit it can be a bit of a challenge to peel off the protecting tape when working with double sided tape, but it seems to work out okay with just a little waste.

This tape is amazing. I used it to install a spoiler on my 2022 PS2. The tape is durable, very sticky, and will hold forever. The roll size was enough to run three separate lines along the spoiler and is a great value for the money. This spoiler will never come off without human intervention, highly recommended.

This tape is SUPER strong compared to basic double-sided tape you find at Walmart

1.5" strip did not even hold 8-10 ounces for more than 1 hr. Total crap. Also it is near impossible to remove the backing from the tape. I wasted more than I used trying to get the backing to release, which is about the only thing it tends to adhere to well. Value for money 0 Stars Works as advertised 1 Star Ease of use 0 Star. Garbage factor: 10 Stars. Only three recommended uses. 1. putting on finger then applying to your 3 yr old's butt to test for pinworm eggs 2. giving to your mother-in-law for scrappbooking tape to watch her get frustrated and cuss a blue streak trying to get the backing off. 3. sticking to tail of a cat you want to hell out of for grins and giggles.

I used this to stick double channel plastic track to the top and bottom of lightly varnished wood veneer shelves indoors. It’s very easy to use if you follow some basic rules: 1. Remove grease and dirt from both surfaces before application and let it dry - I used isopropyl alcohol (available on Amazon) 2. Do not pull the tape off the roll quickly - it will stretch if you do, then it will detach itself from the surface as it tries to shrink back to its original shape 3. Use sharp scissors to cut and trim, not a blade - it welds itself to a Stanley knife blade as soon as you slide the blade across it 4. Do not drop it on the floor - there are no side covers so you will find yourself picking off bits of fluff and grit for ages 5. After applying to the first surface use fine point tweezers to peel off the red backing - use the same technique as for removing the backing from cardmaking foam pads. i.e. press down firmly with the flat edge of the tweezers onto the red tape, roughly 2mm from the end. This puts a dent in the tape and loosens up the very end of the red tape. Slide the tweezers under the red tape and peel. The dent does reshape itself after a couple of minutes 6. Is it the correct product for your application ? I’ve read a few comments that say that this type of tape is rubbish because it was used to stick a hook to a painted wall. The hook fell off when a coat was hung on it. The tape stayed attached to the hook and it pulled off a large chunk of wall paint with it. This product is designed to bond to the surface it is applied to, not the substrates. Effectively they have used it to stick the back of the hook to a very thin layer of emulsion paint. It’s the weak bond between the paint and plaster that failed, not the tape.

I've used this stuff in the past but the 1 inch wide one. It is strong enough to hang wooden letters on a door and this one I used to hang this fabric background on the outside of the terrarium. It can be frustrating trying to separate the glue from the red strip but once your project is done you can be sure it'll hold.
