I use it for woodblock relief printing. Works great. I prefer it to the fiberglass and bamboo barens.

Save Time and Shipping Make Your Own Shimmering Paints
Love this Muller. I have made very sparkly Holo type watercolors with ultra fine glitter and Gum Arabic with total success. Do not pay high prices for metallic or glitter type water color. Make your own with this Muller it is easy and grinding is not tiresome. I have also used the beautiful colors from ColorArte and their Primary Elements powdered pigment and their Bling It line as well. This Muller fits in my hand perfectly, is the right size for the amounts of paints I make and is frosted to help with grinding or mulling the pigments.

A Great Muller for a Great Price
This muller is everything I hoped it would be. I recently started making my own watercolor paints, and after a lot of research I went with this one. It has a perfectly flat bottom and just the right amount of scuffing to allow it to properly mull the paint. The shape and size of it feel perfectly ergonomic to my hand and I can easily make several batches of paint at a time without tiring. Definitely recommend this, especially when you consider that most "Professional Mullers" are easily two to three times the cost of this one when it works just as well.

Excellent product.
This Muller is well designed and fabricated with precision. It’s just the eight size for small scale grinding of watercolor.

Very flat and nice.
The most important part of something like this is the bottom. The bottom is nice and flat, but it does look unfinished. There's still a roughness to it from being sanded. It should still work find, but I've never seen another muller with a rougher bottom. The glass ball on top makes it easy for it to sit in the palm of your hand while you're grinding.
