Mindmade Debatable - A hilarious party game for people who love to argue

The gameplay is straightforward. There are different components to learn about, but they are all very simply to understand. I read the instructions once and barely touched it ever again. There are many different topics and debate strategies to pick from (though some may feel similar), and you can play with different friend groups, so the possibilities are endless. It is really fun if you go all out and be silly. And it's not easy to use the debate strategies but that's the fun! I like how different this game is from many other games out there. It is very portable — imagine a thick notebook, or a pocket bible (obviously it's more fun to carry this game though) — great to take on a trip.

We have so many games but this one is by far our favourite, and everyone we play it with ends up loving it too! It made us buy the other game by them which is good too, but this one's the OG 🔥

It's a fun game, maybe harder to learn for young children. There are lots of prompts so it is definitely a game you could play over and over, but I don't think it's worth the price.

This is a very fun game - I think the structure is a bit rigid and it could be longer (the time limit for arguments is a minute) so that it could be a more real debate, but the questions are fantastic and you can always choose to take longer for the arguments if you so please, of course.

This game sounds good in theory but the topics of debate and rules didn't end up being particularly fun. We were expecting things that really split the room that would be interesting to debate but there wasn't much room for genuine entertainment. The timer went on for massively long. Since a moderator picks who debates what, there's no room for anyone to argue what they really think, and instead of being an intellectual exercise the cards' biases mean unless you're playing with people who are the exact opposite of you it gets tiresome quickly. This game does far better when you ignore a fair amount of the rules, otherwise it becomes a weirdly structured mix between too serious and too dumb- and unfortunately this game balances it terribly. Added two stars because I did manage to convince everyone to blame the parents for society's ills in a yoda voice, however I hated every second of it.

Although the subjects are serious, throwing secret additional characteristics in the mix makes the game hilarious. Great after dinner party game.

Bought as a present for a 14 year old. Not obvious unless you zoomed in on one of the photos that it's meant for over 18 year olds and it's meant for 3 or more players not 2 as in the listing. It also arrived with a big orange sticker on it stating there "might" be a manufacturing error meaning the timer in the box "could be" for 30 seconds not 2 minutes. But not to worry they'll refund some of the money or send out another timer if you want. Huh? So basically I like the premise of the game but as a gift it stinks. Please make sure the listing is accurate, the game arrives as described and it's clear it's intended for over 18s?

it was a gift but we played and it is a FUn game if u love to debate and conversation during games it is super funny to watch the debate too for sure a family game
