My old kettle died at 6pm on a Wednesday evening and just a little over 48 hrs later my new kettle arrived. It's so much better than the old one, which was big and cumbersome, slow and noisy. I particularly wanted one with variable temperature and there weren't that many around. This one appealed to me because of the range of temperatures (40-100), the style and the colour. I like the fact that it shows the temperature as it rises to whatever degrees I've selected. It works very differently than how my previous one did, in that it makes a bit of noise near the beginning of the process and then somehow 'borrows' residual heat to bring it to the temperature chosen. Two small niggles for me: the temperature gauge is set for right-handed people and I'm left-handed, and I like to warm the pot before I make the tea and I now have to wait five minutes until I can reheat the water. But they're only minor inconveniences. I love this kettle!

I absolutely love(d) this kettle. Button just came off after ten months. Planned obsolescence? No way of contacting seller. I don’t like leaving bad reviews. If you’d like to replace it, I’d happily take this review down and replace it with the 5 stars with which I viewed it yesterday. I love being able to save electricity by making coffee at the correct temperature. Thanks

This stopped worrking allmost 12 months to the date of purchase But Taylor Swoden GOOD NEWS are replacing this Electric Kettle for free, GREAT SERVICE .

Whilst I like the look of the kettle and the variable temperature setting, there are two things which are find extremely frustrating. I literally have to tug the lid to remove it and when I didn't put it on fully it 'blew off' when I started pouring. Not good when I was trying to fill my hot water bottle. Good job it wasn't set to boiling. The lid would be much better attached to the kettle with a touch control to open it. Secondly I find it very slow to pour even though I have removed the filter inside. Somewhat disappointed with my purchase.

Kettle just over a year old and now doesn't work. I have had cheaper kettles in the past that gave lasted longer. Not sure if there is a guarantee but cannot find how to contact company.

This is my 4th temperature controlled kettle. I’ve had 2 Bosch and 1 cheap brand over 9 years and personally like this one best. All lasted about 3 years (though cheaper one had to be replaced under warranty after less than a year) so will see if this compares. Love the colour and the fact that you can select several timings (more than previous kettle) using a dial rather than buttons. I also prefer the fact that the lid comes off rather than being a flip lid (talking push button failure here). Boil time is fine and I like that it turns off the electric before it gets to temperature when selecting a non boil temperature then beeps twice once it has reached temperature using residual heat. It appears to be fairly accurate though I haven’t tested temperatures with a thermometer

La regolazione della temperatura e il relativo display luminoso sono proprio quelli che danno una marcia in più a questo bel bollitore dal design moderno. I 2200 W di potenza della resistenza permettono un riscaldamento veloce. L'involucro esterno si riscalda durante l'uso ma comunque la maniglia è ben isolata.

Compramos este hervidor de agua principalmente con la idea de preparar los biberones de nuestro bebé de manera más rápida y cómoda, y la verdad es que ha sido todo un acierto. La capacidad es más que suficiente para cubrir varias tomas al día, lo cual es ideal cuando necesitas tener el agua lista a la temperatura adecuada sin perder tiempo. Además, el regulador de temperatura funciona muy bien: te permite seleccionar con precisión la temperatura deseada, lo que es fundamental cuando no quieres estar esperando a que el agua enfríe de más. Uno de los aspectos que más nos ha sorprendido es la rapidez de calentamiento. Con el hervidor lleno, alcanza los 100 °C en unos 2 minutos, y si lo que buscas es preparar un biberón a temperatura de 50 °C, en apenas 30 segundos ya está listo. Esto nos facilita muchísimo la rutina diaria y evita estar pendientes de calentar agua a ojo. En resumen, un hervidor totalmente recomendable, especialmente si tienes un bebé y necesitas rapidez y precisión para preparar biberones. También es perfecto para infusiones y otras bebidas calientes. Muy contentos con la compra.
