Rule 43 Marine Deluxe Plastic Rocker Panel Switch (12-Volt) , Black, 2-7/8" W x 2-3/8" H

I bought this panel for my bilge pump for several reasons. First it is made by Rule. Second, the price is very attractive and lastly, I have the exact same rocker switches on my dash.This switch includes everything you need. Has connectors, mounting screws and a fuse.This switch allows me to manually test the bilge pump at any time simply by pushing on the switch, it's momentary.

This switch is awesome! Used on DOD boats and that alone should tell you about its quality and durability.

Unfortunately, Amazon makes it impossible to give this a zero star. I bought two of these pieces of "detritus" and neither work as they should. When the fuse blows you cannot get the fuse out because the cheap plastic plug will not come out. The plug is not spring-loaded, as it should be, to force the fuse and plug out of the receptacle and you cannot pick the piece of crap plug out with any pick---as you should not have to do. When you have a blown fuse in your bilge pump circuit, the absolute worst time to find you cannot remove the plug and fuse, to install a replacement fuse, is when your boat is taking on water. Once Rule is sued for a boat going down they will hopefully take this piece of "detritus" off the market. DO NOT BUY IT!

Rule designed this mostly well and I like some of the attributes some may not think about but after reading this review will appreciate. This panel offers one-stop shopping for the operation for your pump. It offers a momentary rocker MAN position to check pump operations, it is spring actuated so when you release it stops. The other two position are OFF and AUTO. AUTO position will activate the pump with power to the water float sensor and only operates when the water level offends the sensor maximum height rating, otherwise it doesn't draw power. This is good if you are leaving this in a slip and want protection without risking excessive battery drain. The panel's frame bulges out to follow the contours of the rocker switch. This is a very good design because it offers protection from inadvertently changing the switch setting by bumping into it or having some clothing snag the switch. The indicator light only illuminates when the pump is running, otherwise is it always off, even when the switch is set to AUTO. It doesn't come with a fuse because you want the fuse to match the rating of your pump, and since this is a universal mount to be used with any pump, there is no way of knowing what fuse rating to pre-pack. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for one ding on quality of plastic. I found the base plastic is either too thin or not of a robust enough polymer so when you tighten the mounting screws, the base will begin to bow.

Installed in my Seadoo glovebox where space is limited and it's semi-flush design makes it a lot less intrusive than other options.Very nice quality and love the ability to select my own fuse amperage.

Went in fairly easy. Directions could have been a little more... Direct for a novice. I got it to function, but..it doesn't light for me. Maybe I missed something?...

Works exactly as intended, no issues whatsoever. Maybe I should dock it 1/10 a star for not coming with a fuse?I never would have imagined Amazon having boat parts cheaper than pretty much anywhere else, and that super-saver shipping would be faster than regular shipping from a lot of places.

Fuse holder on this is CRAP .... to insert a screw driver to remove it makes it turn to dust...and you cannot change fuses.....Fire the CEO...cheapening product to make money
