Great price, easy flashing, and small size - its perfect!
The price and size and great - both small! I installed it behind a light switch and so far I am extremely pleased. For some reason the ewelink app was having errors on my iphone (it said it wasn't connected to the interne) - but i just used my wife's and it worked fine right away. I used the DIY mode to flash to Tasmota and its working like a charm. I did have to fight with it quite a bit to get the DIY mode tool to find the mini on my network - but I was running it on a virtual machine instead of a laptop - so maybe that was why. Once i did get the tool to find the sonoff mini the flash worked like a champ. Very happy.

Works as stated
Tried another brand of this type of device. It would not connect. The SONOFF DIY mini connected the first time I tried. This is an amazing product right out of the box. I can control multiple security lights from the APP, Amazon Echo or an integrated PIR motion sensor. With the LAN communications enabled I get a message that the PIR sensor has been activated and the light is on and when the PIR sensor times off and the light goes off. I can tell ALEXA to turn on/off the security lights or set up a dusk to dawn security scene from the APP. I will be purchasing more of these units for integration in other areas. They are easy to install, program and use.

My third purchase, excellent value for the price
Changed almost all my light fixtures using this neat little device with Alexa. Extra bonus is the Ewlink app which you also can use, and it has more advanced functions than Alexa, but still works as normal with Alexa voice control with those functions enabled.Even when Alexa/Internet connection is down, you can control the devices locally with Ewlink app using LAN control, I discovered during an outageBest Alexa compatible device I own! Not recommended for someone without basic electric knowledge and skills though.

Probably the best solution for converting a wall switch and keeping the existing item intact
I've purchased a couple of normal smart light switches from a variety of companies. They work well. The problem is that they all have a modern push-button activation. That's okay, but I prefer an old-fashioned switch with a nice audible "clack" sound that physically moves in your hand. It feels more substantial and in-keeping with a traditional home. A modern push-button (and most are illuminated) might be nice for a "modern style" home, but it kinda clashes with my home. It's too "sterile" looking. You can stuff this Sonoff Mini behind your existing switch and convert it to a smart switch. That's perfect. no one even knows something changed. The old Levitron brand switch still makes a heavy-duty clack sound when you flip it, but you can now turn the bathroom light off from the bedroom.Even more useful, the Sonoff app lets me set the switch so it will stay on for 30 minutes, and then automatically turn off. I used this so the bathroom fan runs for 30 minutes to dry off the tiles and prevent mold. I've had it for a months now and it's working perfectly.Criticisms:1. Even though it's small, it's still a little big to fit behind the existing switch and still be able to stuff the stiff solid wires that are used in 110v construction. You can do it, but it's really time-consuming and frustrating to get everything to sit flat.2. It does require you to run the existing switch "through" the Sonoff. The existing switch becomes merely an low-voltage external control to a transistor and relay, instead of directly controlling the 110v house current. That's fine for now, but when an electrician comes they're going to be pretty surprised (and confused) at what they find. If the Sonoff fails, the switch stops working. i doubt the Sonoff is going to last as long as a physical Levitron light switch.3. Sonoff uses its own app and servers instead of Smartlife, which is becoming a defacto standard. If Sonoff discontinues this product, goes out of business, or has server/Internet problems then the device will no longer work as a smart-switch. it also means it's a separate app from all your other devices. The counter-argument is that you *can* replace the firmware with one that is not dependent on Sonoff or the Internet. But that's not easy at all.Overall, I like the device and I'm buying a second one. It's got a unique capability (converting an existing switch), is a name-brand with a big community of users, and it's very will-priced.

Great little smart device!
The media could not be loaded. I love that you can easily use this smart switch with existing dumb switches in a single pole or 3-way configuration! I put this device in a light fixture that was wired with two switches in a 3-way configuration. I wasn't able to replace the switches with smart switches because there was no neutral wire. The neutral wire was at the light fixture, which is where I put the Sonoff mini!

Glad They Made This SMALLER Version!
We were looking to automate some outdoor lights that were dusk-to-dawn -- we didn't want them on at night and also wanted them to be motion sensing. The install was rather easy (even though it's small, it was still hard to get it into the junction box). The automatic setup didn't work -- I had to use the feature where I connect my phone directly to the WiFi SSID of the unit to set up, and had to do this on two units.Afterwards, however, the switch has been great. Integrates really well with Alexa, so I have these lights turn off around midnight and they also turn on when my Ring camera detects motion. Very happy so far!

Switches work great, but some of them arrived clearly disassembled
I bought these to flash with Tasmota and integrate into Home Assistant, so I expected to have to do some work... however, two of the five modules in my pack had clearly been used previously:The first had already been configured via the Sonoff App, and had to be factory reset before I could put it into DIY mode, indicating it might have been a return. The other arrived with its housing separated and without its quickstart guide, again indicating that someone had previously opened this module and inspected the interior (probably looking for the R1 jumper)Both of these were shrink wrapped like the rest, so I can only assume that they were errors in reprocessing returned modules? If so, this listing should be clearly listed as refurbished...All else being said, the modules all worked great for what I needed them for!

Good price, small size, works well
Very good price for a capable device which can handle up to 10A load. The size is ideal, far better than regular Sonoff remote relay switch. Very satisfied.

Excellent little switch
These are so good after installing one, I ordered another. Small enough to install in places where they can be hidden out of sight but still be functional. Easily fits inside a switch back box. Having the switch contact available is a useful additional feature. Installing the app and connecting the devices went smoothly without any problems. Also the app contains links to connect easily to Alexa.

Costly but very useful. You can use it offline...
For those who want to use this without Internet: This mini, I wanted to retrofit for already installed modular switches. Once you set schedule on and off using Internet, the switch will work even without Internet, until there is a power outage. But, if there is power failure, you will need internet to sync its time again.Of course, with Internet, you can do many more settings.
