11th studio album by the acclaimed English singer-songwriter. 'Low' became the first of three collaborations with producers Brian Eno and Tony Visconti, later termed the 'Berlin Trilogy'. However, the album was recorded largely in France at the Château d'Hérouville and marked a shift in Bowie's musical style toward an electronic and ambient approach that would be further explored on subsequent albums ''Heroes'' (1977) and 'Lodger' (1979). Review: Great Album - Best Bowie album. Love it. Review: Top David Bowie Album - Classic Album 5 Stars

A very good record
Although the first song does not sound as good as it should, it does not have the 'strange' sound that the EMI-Virgin versions from 1999 have: it seems that they tried to make sound old DB records as they have been recorded yesterday, they are correct, not so loud but definitely there is something unusual in the sound: you pump up the volume and they sound too loud, you decrease a bit and becomes dimmed, I mean, I don't find a proper listening level with the 1999 EMI's. I've always found such feeling with those versions, and completely disappears when listening to the RCA's or the 1990 remastered EMI's. Regardless of the version, with regard to the music itself, if you liked Station To Station you will surely enjoy this one too.

Better than expected
I found this album quite surprising i like the influence of Brian enough and side two comes over as Bowie assisting Eno with his vocals.

Low
The Berlin trilogy, Low is ahead of its time especially side two, absolutely loved it the first time I heard it on CD but it’s a must on vinyl

Beautiful and haunting.
A wonderfully remastered edition of David's classic "Low" album on vinyl, and while I miss the bonus content I've been used to enjoying all these decades - my first ever copy was the Rykodisc rerelease in the early nineties with its excellent bonus material - it is nevertheless a wonderful listening experience. For those who do not know, this was a soundtrack that David was attempting to prepare for his movie "The Man Who Fell To Earth", but was surprisingly turned down by the director. No matter; the music is still available, and that's what counts. :) The term "science fiction" could easily have been invented for this album, especially side two. David works with Brian Eno to craft superb melodies and haunting landscapes of both interplanetary and eerily haunting beauty. If you're a scifi fan but haven't yet checked David out, this is a great place to start.
