I have always wanted a karaoke system at home, but don't want those large PA speakers, or bother with complicated set up. I also did not want to spend a great deal of money for it, just something that works with my old Bose 3-2-1 system. This karaoke system kind of fit all my requirements; it's small, easy to set up, and includes everything needed to turn it on and enjoy. I had my high school son set up everything himself, and to my surprise, I did not have to help him one bit, except for getting him batteries for the microphones. After that, me and my kids were spending 3-4 hours singing, and only stopped because of dinner time. The system itself is very compact, and well made. The microphones are of good weight, feel very nice to hold, and give out decent sound quality. My only wish would be to see a bigger range on the sound controls, and maybe a few more built-in sound effects. However, for its price (under $100), it provides just about everything you need to enjoy karaoke at home (or take it along for your vacation), without spending money on any extra parts. All in all, truly happy with the purchase! Definitely recommending it to my friends.

This is the perfect device for home karaoke! What I like: Compact - it takes up hardly any space below the TV Great sound - the mics sound great and are very simple to use. We've never had any problems with feedback, even when standing under the speaker Battery life - we've used the mics for about eight hours, and still full batteries Cables included - the packages includes all the cables you might need. I used both toslink cables to get sound from the TV in and then to my amplifier out. The device easily connected to my home stereo and plays over my in ceiling speakers. I didn't need to get a large, bulky device. I noticed my favorite KTV places have switched to just a tablet with YouTube on it. This is in fact a better experience than the dedicated units with downloaded midi songs. The same setup works great at home. Just use YouTube on your Smart TV, and connect this device to mix in your microphones. So much fun, and it's easy enough for the whole family to operate.

I used the Optical input, has no optical output but analog outputs works, mics sound ok.

I was little bit hesitant to order this mixer system because of some bad reviews bad nothing to lost if you try it, you can return it if doesn’t sound good. But here I am giving a honest opinion I was surprised that this mixer was better than I expected you just need to know how to adjust correctly. Unnoticeable lags but not a problem we love this system and I’m planning to buy another one for gift. Value for money is good, easy to connect, not bulky, sounds great. I purchased this unit in December. The build quality is good and it has plenty connection types it even has Bluetooth, if this would have worked properly this would have been hands down the best wireless mic. Unfortunately its nothing but a paper weight, the microphone cut in and out constantly to the point where it's not even usable, you can't go more than 5 feet before it starts cutting out. The sound quality is also pretty bad you are constantly getting distortion even after trying to adjust the gain or volume.

Looks good. Easy to install. Value for money. Delay on sound.

Just received the Sound Town Karaoke mixer system. Hooked them up with my TV (using optical cable) and set the output to PCM (Pulse-Code Modulation), phone (bluetooth) and laptop (using Aux cable). The output is connected to my Samsung sound bar using optical cable. Result: Flawless karaoke and DJ system. No issues with sound interference, perfect quality even at max sound. I will be using it for an upcoming b'day party; excited to see this in play. (Will revise this review if things don't play out as expected.

Perfect mic for karaoke no feedback and the optical output input working fine I connected to my bookshelf speaker it is worth buying for..
