Lightweight, surprisingly sturdy and capable, especially for the price
Update (1/31/2024):Short version - Mellif, the manufacturer of this product, has impressed me with their service and business ethic. They stand behind their products. I will order from them again.Long version - in my original review (below), I noted that the engine would cut out after 1-2 hours use. Over time, the engine began to cut out after less and less time, even with brand new fully charged batteries. I contacted Mellif via their website and asked why this might be happening. The initial response noted normal run time limits. This didn't explain the shrinking run time, so I planned to follow up. I never got the chance. The person handling my question had already escalated it to an engineer on their own initiative. The engineer suspected a faulty engine, and based solely on that suspicion, Mellif offered me a full refund. Mellif would normally have replaced the snow blower, but at the time of my inquiry, their stock was completely sold out. I still think this is a great product. I now think the same of Mellif.Original Review:Highly recommended for walkways and smaller areas like a single parking space. I've been using this product for several weeks now, and that's in an area seeing record breaking snowfall. (see included photo) It has done an astonishing good job for a relatively inexpensive single stage snow blower. This product does not come with batteries - those must be purchased separately. If you have a pair of Dewalt 20V MAX XR Batteries (DCB205), you're good to go. Other Dewalt battery models are also compatible, but that's what I had on hand. I get an about an hour's worth of use out of a pair, and I think the limiting factor is the shovel itself rather than the batteries - the batteries still show charge, but the shovel itself seems to need a cool-down period.I am able to clear a couple hundred feet of walkway in the space of an hour, give or take. That's at a depth up to about eight inches. The shovel might be able to handle deeper snow, but try to avoid letting it get any deeper before going to work. The shovel is light enough to hold off the ground in deeper snow, allowing for the clearing of a "top layer" followed by a second pass to clear the "lower layer" - I've only done this once, but cleared roughly 100 square feet on a lawn area to provide smaller dogs a place to ... (Truthfully, the dogs don't need the cleared space, but owners prefer not having to traipse through thigh-high snow to clean up after their pooches). The throwing capability of this product is 15-20 feet in my experience - depends a lot on how wet or dry the snow happens to be. There are three direction settings, manageable with a manually adjusted handle. These are left, straight ahead, and right. The left and right throwing angle is about 30° off the straight ahead direction. As to the throwing height, I am still able to easily get snow out of the walkways onto the pile visible in the included photo.Bottom line - for the price ($159.00 when I purchased), this is a great product for clearing walkways and smaller areas. I don't know that I'd recommend it for long driveways, because it is likely to need a "cool down" period part way through a sizable job. The need for a "cool down" period is just a guess, but that guess is based on my experience with this product. The snow blower engine will begin to cut out after about 1-2 hours' use. The actual length of time depends on how heavy and packed the snow happens to be. The "cut out" is simply an engine stop - it'll run for a bit, then stop. Changing batteries does not solve the "cut out" symptom, but letting the snow blower sit idle for a while does. I can tell you that this "cut out" symptom hasn't changed my opinion of how capable this tool is. I'd order it again in a heartbeat.

Excellent ! See Review
This snow shovel works AWESOME ! I’ve used it to shovel up to 8 inches of snow and blew it away with extreme ease. It was like using a mini snowblower with extreme power. Keep in mind that the snow was a light to regular weight snow… I then used it during another snow storm of about 4-5inches that was wet and heavy snow, very wet and heavy, and the machine worked pretty good but used up battery charge a bit quicker due to the strain. But still cleared the walkway and driveway…NOTE: This uses 2 Dewalt type batteries to operate. I would definitely recommend having at least two sets of batteries with no less than 6AH each, depending on your use and how much you’ll be snow shoveling.PRO’S:#1. Works great on driveways and flat surface walkways#2. Works great on decks#3. It’s surprisingly powerful#4. Built very well#5. Blows snow with ease#6. Durable#7. Definitely worth the price $#8. Easy to assemble and to use#9. Great when using batteries with 6AH to 8AH, the duration of use exceeded 45 minutes to 1 hr of use.The higher the “AH” the longer it will run.CONS:#1. Requires two batteries to operate simultaneously (Dewalt batteries are bulkie)#2. Doesn’t work that well on steps due to the bulkiness.#3. A little on the heavier side compared to other brands, but not that bad considering.#4. Not recommended to use on gravel surfaces, or trying to snowshovel a banken of snow that has been plowed near driveways that may have chunks of ice, rocks, or hard bulkie things.#5. Battery life not that great if using batteries with less then 5AH each. When tested it lasted about 25 minutes on average weight snow.#6. Made all of plastic which concern's me a little, but after using this machine in different type of snow conditions with harsh environments numerous times, I came to trust this items durability..Overall: EXCELLENT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY !

Works surprisingly well
I was a bit hesitant to get this rather than a corded or other battery model having never used mellif products before but so far I’m glad I did. I had bought it only to do the walkway and deck but the week it came my gas blower died so I used it for the driveway too. It was about 4” of snow and I did the driveway and left so I charged the batteries while I was gone before doing the other areas. Not sure how much was left after the driveway but I did the walkway, large deck, and 3 sets of stairs on 2 4ah dewalt batteries. Battery died right at the end of the deck but I noticed only one battery was dead the other still had 2 bars, but I guess it needs both to run. I thought it might be the batteries so I tried it with 2 2ah, and again with 2 5ah and the same thing happened, this is the only reason I took one star away from the review because im not getting a full runtime since it’s draining one battery faster than the other. The second storm I used it in my gas blower was fixed so I only used it for the walk, deck, and stairs. This storm was around 12” and it handled it no problem. The only area it bogged down was where I had blown some snow from the driveway and was pretty compacted. It still got through it but just had to go easy. The blades held up to a decent amount of random gravel that came in off the road. I did charge the batteries between the walk and the deck, but that was with the 2 2ah. The directional fins work really well on it too, when I saw them they didn’t look like much of an angle but it’s really easy to figure out. It is a bit heavier than I’d like but obviously with smaller motor and such you would lose power so it’s still better than shoveling heavy snow. On smooth surfaces like a deck where you can rest the head down the weight isn’t an issue at all but on uneven rocky surfaces you really have to hold it up a bit. I have purchased a few more mellif tools based on my good experience with this one and am definitely interested in trying more for the prices they’re offering.

Electric snow shovel
Came fast right product. Used it twice so far and I like it. First use was like 3 inches of wet snow. It was like 0 degrees Celsius. Will update if I start to dislike. Selling feature it's 40v. Works with my batteries
