Great compact card reader
This is a really great card reader that accepts both SD and CF Express cards. It is very well made with a metal body that will last for years. Highly recommended

Works perfectly with my CF Express cards and SD cards
Works perfectly with the cards and fact transfer rate to PC via USB 3, only slight down is that the SD cards don't click into place they just push is, the CF Express clicks into place

Failed after 3 months
Laptop was happy using this device up to today. Now it’s drawing too much current for the port I’ve used it on for the past 3 months.Tried on different computer and it shows the same results.

Really fills a need!
Just in case you didn't catch it from the description, the keys for this hub are that it is USB 3.0x4, it is unpowered and it has a nice long cable. In my case, it works perfectly to plug into the back of my PC, and I have it screwed to the front underside of my desk to one side. This gives me four ports basically at my fingertips. Most other hubs come with a short cable and also aren't designed to be mounted; just sit on the desk surface. If this looks like it will fill those needs for you, I think you'll be happy with this hub. I am glad I have it, and I picked up another like it.~Cheers!

What a nifty little device!
I didn’t even know that such a thing as this existed, but just a couple of days ago I wanted to look through the photos and videos taken by my trail camera and had to search for several minutes trying to find one of my MicroSD card adapters to use it in my SD card slot of my computer. (Turned out that they were all in my digital camera bag! Who would have thought to look there?)Then I came across this nifty little device. It accepts a MicroSD card and/or a standard SD memory card (even both at the same time) and plugs into a high speed USB 3.0 jack on my computer for fast and convenient access to their content. And, of course, I will keep this dual card adapter with my computer (not in a camera bag) where it will be used. And importantly, the maximum limit on card storage capacity that can be accessed through this device is a very high 2 TB.Now whenever I need to view the contents of a MicroSD card on my computer I won’t need to first mount it in a standard SD card adapter. I can read those tiny MicroSD memory cards from my security cameras and the trail camera directly.

Meh
Sometimes works, sometimes not so much.It is taking me a while to do a review for this because I kept going back and trying to figure out if I was doing something wrong that I could not get it to connect with any sort of regularity. When it works, it works well.

Inexpensive portable USB 3.0 card reader for Micro and SD cards.
The media could not be loaded. This drive is mainly plastic.Weighs only .4 ounces.Has a flip up cap to protect the end with the Micro SD slot.Snaps back on and protects the card.Card icon and text on the front above the cap.The side has no cover and this is where full size SD cards are inserted.Card icons and text located beside the SD card slot. The USB 3.0 plug is on the opposite end of the Micro SD slot.Has a built in USB 3.0 slide cover with ROCKETEK and logo imprinted on both sides.Ran a full test, the results.Using a high speed camera card.SDXC UHS-IITransferred the same photos using this Quanlex USB 3 drive, and a Type C drive that is my daily driver.Copied photos from the card over to an external drive, using my daily driver a USB Type-C reader.See video clip of comparison.Selected 15 jpgs and 15 raw files 495MB in total size. The top speed 94.8 MB/s.Switched over to this Quanlex USB 3. reader.Inserted the same camera card.Copied the same photos. And the top speed was 38.4 MB/s.Overall.The reader works with SD and micro SD cards as described.Speeds are more on the USB 3.0 side. And as shown in the pics and video (High speeds cards do work)This is slower than my daily driver. As a backup reader this is fine and takes up no extra space. Can easily fit into my gear bag.The swivel sleeve can be popped off and on easily if needed. The swivel has nubs at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o clock.Hope this was helpful.
