Painted our daybed with white chalk furniture paint,so you can see the natural grain whilst giving a distressed look and wood knots and will be adding 4 large crystal door type knobs.The trundle takes the weight of many books I like to have handy.The slats are wide,therefore comfortable,rest,sleep.

Comes with good instructions, easy to assemble. I did it myself. It is still strong and sturdy after 8 months use. The pine was bleeding resin on some places but I was able to stop it. I would recommend everyone.
