My Ford service dept loves to lose all my F150’s valve stem caps every time I go in for service. And my local auto-part stores only carry the short-height caps for cars or wacky ones with flags on them or bullets. These long valve stem caps are perfect for the longer valve stems on trucks! Doesn’t leave any brass showing and fit snugly. This package comes with enough caps that I can replace all of them after multiple service visits.I’d recommend for anyone with a pickup truck.

I bought a truck and it was missing a couple valve stem caps. I wanted a good replacement that created a good seal. I really like these caps. They have a rubber seal that sits perfectly on the end of the stem when screwed all the way down. It has a sufficient amount of threads so it covers a lot of the stem and screws all the way down.

I thought these might be a direct replacement for the superior-quality tire valve caps on my Subaru Outback.This not the case. Several threads on the Subaru tire valves are not covered whereas with the original Subaru Outback tire caps, all tire valve threads are covered.Still, not a terrible product and I've put these into my garage parts cabinet as spares and they'll eventually be used.

As someone who lives in an area that uses salt on the roads in winter I opted for plastic after reading reviews of those who purchased metal caps with their car logo that corroded because of salt. I chose these mainly because of the length & rubber seal on the inside tip. They covered all of the threads & seated flush perfectly! After installing I was happy to see there were 2 extra left over for spares! They only need to be hand tight. The ones I had on prior were cheap & tightened so tight the stem broke through the plastic. These are worth every penny!

Much easier to spin off & on in the cold weather. They also match the looks of Subaru OEM caps, which the tire shop likes to throw-out every time I change to/from winter snows from/to summer tires.I put them on all of our four vehicles. I probably should have bought more in anticipation of the tire guys mixing them up or tossing them out.

I bought these because one went missing off my truck. When the package arrived, I went out side and put it on only to notice that just a little bit of the brass stem was still visible, which did not match the others on the vehicle. Oh well, for 99% of the cars it will probably be just fine.

So these “long” valve caps are indeed longer than standard caps, but they are not as long as OEM caps. They stop about 1/8” short of seating against where the brass and rubber sections of valve stem meet. They work, but I don’t recommend them.
