Couldn't get it to work
My wife gifted me these for Christmas, they just don't work. Can't get them to even power on with my Pixel 8 Pro. Also, the software they want you to install, nags you to buy stuff, and wants credit card numbers. I boxed them up and just asked wife to return them.. Nothing should be this frustrating right out of the box.

A Fantastic Upgrade to TCL RayNeo Air 2!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review: A Fantastic Upgrade to TCL RayNeo Air 2! A Worthy Upgrade to the Future of AR with TCL RayNeo Air 2! I recently upgraded from the TCL Nxtwear S+ to the TCL RayNeo Air 2, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Here’s why these AR glasses are worth every penny: Amazing Visuals The first thing you'll notice is the stunning display quality. The RayNeo Air 2 has dual Sony-produced Mini OLED screens with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, making everything look super sharp and vibrant. Whether I'm gaming, watching movies, or just browsing, the 120Hz refresh rate keeps everything smooth and immersive. Super Comfortable These glasses are incredibly light, weighing only 76 grams, which is a huge improvement over the Nxtwear S+. The adjustable arms and nose pads let you customise the fit, making them comfy for long periods. However, I do miss the fluffier nose guard from the Nxtwear S+—the RayNeo Air 2’s could use a bit more cushioning. Versatile Compatibility The RayNeo Air 2 easily connects to pretty much any device you can think of—iPhones, Android phones, laptops, and even gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch(Via a Dock) and Steam Deck(Direct connectivity). This makes it super versatile, whether I’m travelling, at home, or in a meeting. Improved Cable Connection One of the best upgrades is the switch from the proprietary POGO pin connector of the Nxtwear S+ to a standard USB-C to USB-C connection in the RayNeo Air 2. This change is a game-changer, making it much easier to find compatible cables and ensuring a more reliable connection across all my devices. Good, but Not Great, Audio The audio quality is decent, with clear sound thanks to the dynamic stereo and phase cancellation tech. It’s definitely better than the Nxtwear S+, but you might still want to use Bluetooth earbuds for a richer sound experience. Eye Comfort A big plus is the TÜV Rheinland Certified Eye Comfort feature, which really helps reduce eye strain during those long viewing sessions. This was a thoughtful addition, making the glasses more user-friendly for extended use. Cool AR Features The RayNeo XR app adds some cool AR features, like a floating augmented reality interface and head tracking for Android users. This is a fun upgrade from the Nxtwear S+ and makes the glasses feel even more high-tech. Final Thoughts The TCL RayNeo Air 2 is a fantastic upgrade from the Nxtwear S+. With its top-notch display, lightweight design, broad compatibility, and advanced AR features, it’s a great choice for anyone looking to dive into augmented reality. I highly recommend it, though I do wish the nose guard was a bit cushier like on the Nxtwear S+. Overall, these glasses have exceeded my expectations and are definitely worth the investment. If you’re on the fence, go for it—you won’t be disappointed!

Surprised... In a good way
Plug and Play Claims: I tried these glasses at CES and was pretty impressed by comfort and weight. However, I’m always skeptical when anyone says “plug and play.” Well, it is. I have a Pixel 6 Pro (Won’t work because the lack of USB-C DP output), but after plugging it into a Pixel 8 Pro, it worked flawless. I then tried this on my Dell laptop which also has the USBC-DP out option and that worked as well. Packaging: The packaging was well packed and with no obvious shipping damages. The preinstalled nose bridge adaptor worked as expected and I didn’t need to switch it out. Included Items: Air 2s glasses, cleaning wipes, semi-hard case, manual and dedicated USBC to USBC connecting cord. NOTE to RayNeo – Please provide an area where we can read the instruction manual via PDF because the included small manual is a joke an dextremely hard to read for vision impaired people. Quality Of Image: I still have to adjust for my glasses, but after putting on my contacts and using the glasses for a few hours, I’m very pleased with this purchase. I’m looking forward to testing their Pocket TV accessories, but for now, I plan to use this with my laptop and tablet. Initial Summary: Score for now; A- if you want something simple that just works and a fair price.

Not tinted dark enough and no blackout cover accessory available.
Between these and the XREAL Air 2 and Air 2 Pro glasses, they're probably the best three options as far as overall specs and features in 2023-early 2024. These being the cheapest have in my opinion, better software support. The app offers a lot of adjustments and is very user-friendly. However, the glasses themselves have one big drawback.. The outer tinted lenses are not only NOT dark enough for outdoor use or even in a moderately lit rooms, they don't even come with a blackout cover like the XREAL glasses do. It's not even a purchaseable accessory. The XREAL Air 2 and Air 2 Pro both come with a very simple black cover so you can get the best out of the micro-oled displays. It removes all transparency which is important if you want to watch a movie or play games. With these glasses, I can clearly see the background through the projected image and its extremely distracting. You basically have to be in very low lit to dark environments to get full immersion. Seems to me that it would be a very inexpensive accessory and baffling why it doesn't comes with the glasses or even available for purchase. I got these at a different online retailer and ignorantly just assumed it was a standard accessory. They got returned because of it. Its a real shame because they are quite comfortable and the oled screens are very vibrant and crisp. Pared with good software too. Amazon seems like the best place to write this to get the most views.
