Lovel flash
Great quality, Excellent flash. Value for money and doesnt need charging that often. Very easy to attach to camera and connect.

For the price its very good
So this thing is going to force you to shoot manual, but if you want it as a fill in flash, which is what I needed, it does the job. There are no bells and whistles... its cheap.. but I wouldn't say nasty... I've been used to a Nikon SB800 so this is a major stap down, but it costs less than a tenth of the price of a new Nikon flash.

Yes you can pay £600 for a flash.
To me light is light there is good or bad light but not in this case a £600 pound flash of light is the same as the light from a much cheaper unit I use manual flash units easy to use and reliable. I have the TTL type but don't like them as much so they get used as slaves if needed set to S1. Paying less than £40 for one of these that work well saves money and can be replaced easily on Amazon for next to nothing. Yes no HSS or TTL but at SS from 20th to 200 so much can be achieved. With or without a tripod.

Not as expected
The flash did not have a diffuser makes the light too bright when used.

I purchased this unit a while ago. It worked great then started giving me trouble. The return window had closed so I didn't attempt a return. I hastily wrote a negative review instead of contacting the seller first for a solution. After I wrote my review and gave them 1 star, the company reached out to me. They offered to replace the unit at no additional cost to me. They didn't have to do that. They care about customer satisfaction and stand by their products. I will 1000% purchase from this company again. Thank you! Thank you! The new flash works beautifully and just in time...I have a shoot tomorrow! Amazing service!!

I recently received the flash and am very pleased so far. (I'm mostly using it for macro photography using a sync cable and remote shutter release.) It is simple to use and I like the manual selection of output power. The flash head rotates up & down and left & right which makes it great for tabletop work. Recycle time is fast. My only negative is the battery compartment cover seems to be a little bit fragile and may be easily damaged when trying to close it after inserting batteries - so be careful with that. Hopefully the unit will pass the test of time.
