I had a small OBD Reader that did basic stuff nothing more but having 4 cars I wanted something I could use to diagnose issues when they arose I had been looking at OBDII devices and this one popped up to be fair I was sceptic as all I’d seen started at around £800 this was under £500 but the reviews were all good so I brought one and I have to say it’s fantastic it works on all my vehicles when you do services you can use it to reset things like brakes to show new pads etc if your window reopens when you close it that can be reset also it will show you how to re calibrate some things saving me money as I can do these things without sending the vehicles to a garage I’m not a mechanic but love it comes in a nice durable case wipe clean tablet connects to WiFi and you can concert to any air printers to get reports etc and with 2 years free upgrades on software what’s not to like

Used on multiple vehicles so far reset service lights after oil changes/brake replacements and several diagnostic sticks sessions so far. Brilliant tool and a bargain for the price

Recently I had an engine fault flag up on the dashboard and a message saying Check AdBlu. With only a short time before an MOT, I thought the best way was to do this myself. Having been in the motor trade for 30 years, I had an idea of both the fault and cost of the job but no test equipment anymore. There was no way I was going to spend money on the likes of Snap-on etc. although they were the go-to in my day. With some research I settled on Launch and decided to purchase the X431 PROS Elite as it had all the functions needed for both this fault and pretty much anything else.The scanner arrived next day by Amazon, well packed and the diagnostic kit all neatly fitted in the clam shell case. A short time in reading the setup procedure got everything working and updated with the latest software from the internet.A check on the vehicle quickly flagged up an issue with the NOx sensor on the exhaust system, just as I thought. A replacement was purchased the following day and fitted; the next step was to use the sensor reset function in the X413 PROS Elite. After approximately 12 minutes the whole system was calibrated, fault free and ready for an MOT.There’s no doubt that this kit is value for money and with the cost of the sensor and purchase of the Launch X431 coming in at less than quoted from the garage for the repair, I can’t complain. With the YouTube videos of the Launch equipment easy to find together with lots of information on the internet, this equipment is at home with both trade and DIY mechanics.It’s certainly a 5 star product for me.

Sent it strait back would not let me register after spending 3 hours trying to do it !!! Does not let you select the country and the captcha code does not display so would not let me do anything total rubbish
