This worked great for us. We've had it over two years now, and it did the trick. We have a sixty pound Rotty-mix, and that vibration setting only works to get her attention if she is far away, but not to stop her if she gets in her "herding" mode that we were trying to break her of. So beware that vibration is probably not a good setting for training. We had to use the shock setting for that, but we only had to use it a handful of times for her to learn, and we never had to go above setting 2 (out of 99) on the shock setting. We tested that on ourselves first, and it felt like a very strong static electricity charge. It was shocking for sure, but not damaging. After about a year we had to put it back on her to do a refresher when she started herding at the dog park again, but that again only took a few times before we could stop using it again.I really appreciate that gradiation of the shock charge, so that you can very slowly step it up to what your dog needs. And I should mention that it was a life saver one time. My dog is passive and doesn't get aggressive at all unless she sees other dogs being aggressive with each other, but then she runs to jump in the pile and start herding. Well, one time there was a bad fight between two very big dogs (100 lbs or more), and she ran straight for it. I was far away and could not reach her, and I started using that button. Each time it caused her to veer away from the pile. Three or four times I had to hit the button to keep her out of it before I could reach her and grab her by the collar. The other two dogs hurt each other badly (only really bad fight I've ever seen at the park), but our dog was kept out of it by having this collar on her.Needless to say, I'm happy with it.

WORKED THE FIRST 5 MINUTES TO CHANE MY DOMINATING BOSSY 8 LB, MORKIE'S ATTUTUDE!!! HAD TO LET HER HAVE ONE SMALL STING BUT SHE LEARNED SHE DIDNT LIKE IT NOW SHES VERY WELL BEHAVED.

I'll just say that my dog look like he had to rent because it malfunctioned and continuously shocked him when he had never even barked.

Great would buy again. Worth the money.

One went in the water and never worked again and the batteries needed to be replaced and nobody including the battery stores had them
