Brilliant - Amazing Value for Money
Bought this to replace my old box gravity return box filter for my 1000 gallon pond. It works brilliantly, easy to clean with the back flush feature. The water is crystal clear. And with a combined running cost of only 17 Watts for both pump and UV compared to the 125Watts of my old kit, over time it will save a fair bit of money. Definitely worth 5 Stars

Good bit of kit.
Bought this to replace one that I broke trying to change the bulb..... tbf, I had done very little to the old one I replaced so I'm not surprised the bulb housing was stuck solid. Straight replacement, not too expensive and does the job a treat, easy to back flush to clean the filter too.

I have two sets, one has been running continuously now for several months. The pump output has dropped very slightly on the older one. Both feel rattly inside their strainer cages. The items (as pictured) have a cheap plastic feel about them but for the price Im not bothered. Versatile hose tails - just hacksaw off to the size required( bigger hose sizes offer less resistance- this is more important on longer runs but still best practice anyway as the pump wont have to work so hard). The Pump will take 32mm pipe but the filter will only go to 25mm so be careful! No hose is suplied - I got a bulk amount cheaper from an infamous online tat-bazaar than I could locally. Tighten the cut tails fully onto the filter (dont lose the rubber seals!) BEFORE installing the hoses as theres not much room to work .You will need to go to toolstation and get a box of hose clips as there are none supplied with the kit. Use a stainless steel one on the pump though. The backflush facility on the filter is activated by pushing down on the grey paddle. The flushed water will then exit through the third of the three hosetails so budget for an extra piece of garden hose unless you like mess... The UV seems to be doing its job as the water remains clear so far. Theres plenty of cable supplied with both units and its good quality. Dont forget that adding fish to a pond will make the filter work much harder so you would be best to double your filter capacity ( get a 4500 filter for a 2000ltr pond) The filter can be buried in the ground up to its lid so its easy to conceal and being the pressurised type it can be put above or below the pond water level. Those of a curious nature should avoid taking off the lid unless absolutely neccessary as the rubber seal is a nightmare to reinstall. The pump is obviously silent as its underwater.Theres only one output so you would need an adjustable diverter valve if you want a waterfall and a fountain Despite the slight negatives ,which can be worked around, the kit is of unbeatable value as a starter set ,as a replacement for worn out equipment or as an enhancement to an existing system.

Good system
This filter system works really well. My only critisism is that the UV bulb expired after only two weeks

Good buy
Guys it’s definitely worth the money. I have not seen the bottom of my pond in months. In less than a week the water is crystal clear and the fish are living it up. The pump itself is quite easy to set up. Usually skeptical about some comments and I don’t normally comment myself, so here we go. Well worth it!!

Good so far….
This has been in place for a couple of months now and works quietly and very well. Just as good as the far more expensive one we had before although we did re-use the control box from the previous filter as this does not come with one. Early days but highly recommended thus far.

Sprung a leak after a few weeks
Worked for a few weeks and then sprung a leak pumping nearly all the water out of the pond over night - luckily caught it before the fish were left out of water. Wouldn't trust this now.

Great pump and filter
Following an all -in-one pump and filter that refused to clear the pond, we went for the EasyFilter 4500. It arrived quickly and was easy to set up as I had some piping already. I would recommend using the stainless steel worm screw clamps to secure to the hose tails as this stopped all leaks better than the corrugated hose clips. We had a problem with the seal "O" ring that sits between the lid and the bottom of the filter housing that was supplied and we could not stop leaks. Got in touch with the seller who sent us a replacement straight away. This was slightly bigger and although it's a bit fiddly managed to get it properly sealed without leaks. Our pond was very murky with algae which the previous pump would not shift. We left it running for about 10 days then put the UV lamp on. Within 5 days the pond has cleared better than we expected and we can see the bottom of the pond now and all the fish. Would recommend and would buy again.
