Worked perfectly. I used it to move two SSDs that were in different locations in the case, one of which was mounted upside down, hence needing a cable twist, Both SSDs fitted perfectly. The power and SATA connections were perfectly accessible. The handle means you are pushing/pulling on the frame, not the SSDs or their cables.Mine are now mounted in a bay for 3 x 3.5" drives. I bought two, and mounted them easily with the case supplied rubber vibration free mount. YES, I know these are SSD's but most 3.5" drives are HDDs. The upshot is that I needed no tools at all to fix the drives.That was so good I purchased a second, allowing for growth!The case also has space for 4 x 3.5" drives - its a big case! All of which are now accessible easily, without tools, and with all the cables running neatly and untwisted.SUCCESS!

Excellent way to mount 2 2.5 inch drives in a 3.5 inch bay.

Over the years I've bought quite a few products from the StarTech brand--most have been fine--sadly this is not one of them. I don't think it would be an exaggeration to say this one is garbage. The rails designed to hold the SSDs do not grip securely and the outer carriage seems designed to work only with the accompanying plastic push-in pins--again not a secure fit. My guess is that even though its flimsy it will work for most--provided the case it fits into is never moved. If you want something more secure, look elsewhere.

Not any good for a quality PC case with slide out latching Disk trays.This bit of plastic has side fixings only. I needed Bottom fixing as used on 3.5 inch Disks.My mistake, if it looks cheap think twice!

Great - 2 ssd easily snap/click into bracket. Unjack hdd in its 'sled' remove hdd, click bracket into sled & Jack back in .
