Better than expected! It’s a fair robust item, a heavy base and chromed steel tubes make it far from flimsy. You assemble it yourself but it’s dead easy and quick to do. The instructions are easy to follow and all the parts are illustrated well. Mine was delivered in the vendor’s original box and it had been damaged, one of the chrome tubes was dinted as a result which is annoying. That aside I’m happy with the night valet concept and it works well. I’ve only ever seen/used these in hotels, I intend to not leave clothes in a place where the cat can sit on them in the night. I’ve got this sat on new carpet, it’s not leaning over with the weight of clothes, the base is adequately heavy.

Tiny bit fiddly to put together first off but once it's together it's brilliant and simple as anything to hang clothes ready for the next day or shirts and trousers for an interview.

Easy installed and does well in my bedroom

For the price these are sturdy and well made. They look good in the bedroom and not cheap or tacky. So handy instead of clothes being on the floor or covering up my dressing table chair. Bought 3, one for OH amd I and one for the other room in the house. They are just so handy I don't know why clothes valets are not a more usual thing in the UK. I have 1 pair jeans, 1 pair joggers, 2 leggings, 2 tshirts, a blouse and a pair of pyjamas on there, plus 3 x braletts too. Hubby put 3 pairs of jeans amd 2 pairs of shorts in his with a shirt and tie no, all fit fine but does seem to lean forward with the heavy jeans. But I think that is more be due to it being on new deep pile carpet, rather than the stand leaning. Overall I'd thoroughly reccomend these, amazing and so cheap. Go for it!

Poor quality! The item was dented and scratched in various places!

This is much stronger than the wooden valet I had bought before . It’s taller and doesn’t fall to bits. Definitely worth buying and I would recommend it.

Parcel arrived intact but when I tried to put it together the nut and bolt that secured the base to the metal rods was not long enough so we haven't been able to put it together. If we can't buy a longer bolt/screw to replace the ill fitting one you gave us it will be useless. Not happy at all

I finally bought this Je Cherche Une Idée valet because my bedroom chair was starting to look like a textile graveyard.
