It is a good camera for the money, nice picture which turn black/white when it gets too dark. Speaker is also very good,. In instructions it says the signal reach 100m outside. I can get in the garden with very weak signal and if I get into the garage there is no signal at all even the bedroom is right next to it, also there is missing description of setting in the camera. There are 3 options for camera's battery, but there is no explanation what each of the options means. Also the camera doesn't last long if it is not in charger, max 2 hours or so, so again I can't even sit in the garden for long where there is no energy supply once kids are in bed. Or if I need to clean the house when kids are asleep I need to be fast as the battery doesn't last long.

We've had this monitor for 5 months now. To start off with, we liked the size of the screen, but problems were apparent. It wouldn't charge unless it was switched on, which is a bit strange and means you have to make sure you get it back on charge while it's still has some juice left. Then today it gave up the ghost for good. When I googled how I might fix it, a string of bad reviews came up. I'm disappointed I hadn't seen these reviews before, I thought I had checked thourougly.If you want a pain in the a#s monitor that you really have to keep on top of and then it dies on you 5 months later, this would be the perfect monitor for you. If not, do a bit more googling. I would suggest typing in the product name and then ask how to fix it. Usually shows up the duff ones.

Would be a good monitor if the signal weren’t so intermittent. I finally worked out that if you have your phone with WiFi enabled anywhere near the receiver (ie in the same room / within 3m) the interference is unbearable as the receiver starts beeping and doesn’t display the image, nor have any audio. Seems to be a pretty fundamental and rookie flaw that a device on WiFi causes such interference in the modern world.When the monitor works it’s pretty good - picture and audio both are decent including night vision

Irs good for the money . Looses signal a little not often cant attach to the wall unless you need it right above the cot . SHAME REALLY, I Can get my hubby to make somet to get the angle we need but living with a joiner means nothing gets done at home quickly. So it's perched on top of a box. Clear picture. Wish I had never spent £140 quid on a vtech that broke within 8months this was a lucky find . There's no altering the camera from your parent unit that's the only diffrence between an expensive one and this . X

Doesn't work in our place in Spain, walls are thick. Also didn't work in our previous home here which was strange as it was only small. We now have a large home in the UK, much thinner walls and is working fine. Can only recommend dependent on the type of home that you have.

I'm looking for a long range baby monitor so I can keep an eye on the little one while i'm in the office at the end of the garden. This unit advertises itself as having a range of "up to 50m indoor or 260m outdoor". This is wildly optimistic and may only be possible if you're house is made from cardboard and your walls are 5mm thick. Half way down the garden the signal dropped out. Returned for refund.

Happy with this product. Good quality camera day and night. I would love it even more if it had longer cable. Also the cable can be a bit annoying if you want to angle camera, it pulls it back. But generally great product
